Would make someone with riding experience a nice trail or ranch horse.

Currently being ridden daily.

The South Texas Horse Show Association is thrilled to announce our official schedule for the Performance and Ranch Open Shows for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 seasons. Class list to follow once classes are finalized.

Whether you are a seasoned competitor or looking to enter your very first Open Show, we have a spot in the arena for you!

Join us for a fun, family-friendly atmosphere featuring a full slate of Performance and Ranch classes. Our series is designed to be exciting, educational, and—most importantly—a blast for riders of all ages and skill levels.

Fall 2026 Series
• Show #1: September 12 & 13
• Show #2: October 17 & 18

Spring 2027 Series
• Show #1: April 2 & 3
• Show #2: May 1 & 2

Shes been rode on the trails, hauled to arenas, loped thru the pattern, and started on the heel side.
She’ll track cows.
W/T/L both directions and she has a nice stop, neck reins decent.

She is on the lazier side
not spooky, no funny business, nothing bothers her.
She needs a confident rider.

She does best stalled or in a pen.
she can be buddy sour, if turned out in a herd.

Not spooky or afraid of anything.

He has been ridden on trails and in the arena,
He is more go than woah on the trails.
Hes quiet in the arena.

He needs a confident/experienced rider that enjoys to trail ride.

He can be barn sour but has shown a lot of improvement.

He will walk, running walk, gait and lope.
