Layla was such a good girl, as always! 🥰 But omg, this girl LOVES her some Rachel 😂 She just sits there staring at her like, “Where have you been all my life?! I have been looking everywhere for my long-lost sister!” 😂💕

And Ruby… ohhh Ruby. 😂 She just needed Momma to leave for approximately 2.5 minutes before deciding, “Okay fine, I guess these people are acceptable.” 😂 Once she got comfy, she was the sweetest little baby! And when Momma came back? GIRL practically climbed her like a little koala just to get her kisses. 🥹😂💕 Clearly, Momma had been gone for approximately 47 years in Ruby time.

Yesterday, Mr. Cooper came in and, despite being a nervous little JITTER BUG 🐝, Mrs. Kailey had him feeling better in no time! 💕 Before long, he was showing off that ADORABLE little personality of his like he owned the place! 🥹😂 We absolutely fell in love with this sweet boy and can’t wait to see him again! 🐾💙

And today, Mr. Kendel took on THE THREE MUSKETEERS… and somehow lived to tell the tale. 😂😂

Meet Maggie, Reuben, and Drago!!! Three of the silliest BIG BABIES around! 🐶🐶🐶

👑 Maggie — The fearless leader. She has BIG ideas, bigger plans, and absolutely NO hesitation about dragging everyone else into her latest scheme. 😂 “Guys, I have an idea…” is probably the most dangerous sentence in the building.

🙄 Reuben — The old man of the group. His entire personality is basically, “Seriously? We’re doing this again?” 😂 He has seen things. He has opinions. And he would like everyone to please calm down.

💪 Drago — The goofy muscle. Built like he could move furniture, but mentally he’s just here to hang out, make friends, and wonder why everyone else is being so dramatic. 😂

Together, these three are basically a furry heist crew: Maggie comes up with the plan, Reuben complains about the plan, and Drago happily goes along with the plan because… BALL. 😂🐾

We love these big goofy babies and all the chaos they bring with them! ❤️

🐾✨ TODAY’S EPISODE OF GROOMING GREMLIN SHENANIGANS ✨🐾

💙 Mack was the BESTEST boy for pretty much everything! He’s still learning that toe maintenance is, unfortunately, part of being a handsome gentleman. 😂 The toes are currently under negotiation, but he is SUCH a sweetheart that we’ll allow him to file a formal complaint with management. 🐾🤣

💖 Roxy was the GOODEST girl and came fully prepared to collect ALLLLL the cuddles. Then we put her bandana on and apparently activated ✨CELEBRATION MODE✨ because girlfriend spun around approximately 200 times. 😂 Ma’am. We see it. You look fabulous. PLEASE STOP SPINNING SO WE CAN ADMIRE YOU. 💃🐶

👵🏻💕 Izzy was also a very good girl… even though she did politely attempt to ✨remove me from the situation✨ when we got to her toes. 😂 In her defense, those little old-lady toes are sore, and she takes her job as Head of Toe Security VERY seriously. 🚨🐾 We took our time, got them taken care of, and respected the tiny grandma gremlin’s boundaries as much as possible. 😂❤️

Another successful day of cuddles, negotiations, unauthorized spinning, and trying to keep all of our fingers. 😂🐾

🐾 TODAY’S EPISODE OF: WHO LET THESE GREMLINS IN?! 🐾

🦷 Cuddles — The sweetest little baby with the BIGGEST TEEFERS. 😂 This poor girl is a little insecure about her smile, meanwhile we are absolutely OBSESSED with it. Ma’am, those teeth are not a flaw. Those are a ✨FEATURE✨. Show them chompers with PRIDE.

👑 Topanga — Came in for her regularly scheduled shift as Salon Management. Nobody hired her. Nobody promoted her. She simply arrived one day and decided she was in charge. Honestly, we don't have the courage to tell her otherwise. 😂 Tiny floof. HUGE authority.

👬 Caleb & Copper — Caleb got to show his brother Copper the ropes today, and he was SUCH a good big brother! Mostly. 😂 There was definitely some "follow me, I know what I'm doing" mixed with a little "actually, figure it out yourself, nerd." Just wholesome brotherly love. 💀

⚡ Teddy — A WHOLE MOOD. Bouncy. Bossy. Excited. Opinions at FULL VOLUME. Teddy did not simply come in for a spa day — Teddy ARRIVED. 😂 He's got places to be, people to supervise, and absolutely no time to explain himself.

😎 Cotton — Our cool, calm-ish gentleman. Cotton is mostly calm for his groom… or at least as calm as Cotton has personally agreed is necessary. 😂 His defense? "LOOK AT MY BROTHER. Compared to that guy, I'm basically MEDICATED." And honestly? Fair argument, sir.

Another successful day at Bed, Bark, & Beyond where the dogs are cute, the personalities are questionable, and apparently several of them have appointed themselves management. 😂🐾

We just work here.

🐾 TODAY’S EPISODE OF GROOMING SHOP GREMLIN SHENANIGANS 🐾

🎀 Baylee came in for her groom with Kailey today and OH. MY. GOODNESS. This little doll baby was an absolute ANGEL. 😭💕 Just sitting there being precious, cooperative, and entirely too cute like she pays taxes and has never committed a crime in her life. 10/10 good girl behavior. Somebody get this baby a tiny crown. 👑

😂 Percy, on the other hand, showed up handsome AND equipped with approximately 47 extra moving parts. Sir… where are you going?! Nobody knows. Not even Percy. 🤣

He gets a little fidgety when we first start, gotta wiggle the demons out, check the perimeter, reposition every foot six times… and then suddenly he remembers, “Oh yeah. I know these people.” 😂 After a minute he settles right down and turns into the sweetest, handsomest little gentleman.

✨ Baylee: tiny perfect doll baby. ✨ Percy: handsome fidget spinner with feelings.

Another successful day at the gremlin headquarters. 😂🐾💕

Gracie came in and was, of course, her usual royal self. 👑😂 This girl is a PRINCESS and unfortunately knows no other way of life. The peasants may proceed with the grooming, the snackies, and the admiration. Her Majesty will be accepting compliments at this time. 💅🐾

Then we have Diesel, aka Rachel’s biggest fan. 😂 He is the BESTEST boy, sweet as pie, absolutely precious… but make no mistake: he prefers the Rachel. The rest of us are acceptable substitute humans until his chosen woman becomes available. Rude? Maybe. Do we still love him? Absolutely. 😂❤️

And last but certainly not least… THE ZIGGY. 🤌

Handsome? ✅
Charismatic? ✅
Sweet as can be? ✅
Just enough goofy to keep everyone concerned? ABSOLUTELY.

Ziggy is the life of the party — mostly because he IS the party. Nobody invited him to one, so naturally he created his own. 🎉😂 One minute you’re grooming a dog, the next you’re apparently attending a Ziggy-hosted social event and nobody knows how we got here.

Just another perfectly normal day at the gremlin headquarters. 🐾😂

Apparently once was not enough, so the City of Portland is shutting the water off AGAIN on Thursday. 😂

And unfortunately, running a grooming salon without water is frowned upon.

Something about needing water to bathe the doggos… shampoo not working via thoughts and prayers… and the shop gremlin being unable to produce an adequate municipal water supply from sheer irritation. 🙄😂

SOOOO…

🐾 WE WILL BE CLOSED THURSDAY DUE TO THE CITY WATER SHUT-OFF. 🐾

If you have an appointment scheduled for Thursday, we will be reaching out to get you rescheduled.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience! Unfortunately this one is completely out of our hands, and while the shop gremlin has considered standing outside with a garden hose and several buckets, management has denied the request.

Thank you guys for being patient with us while Portland plays “Will They Have Water Today?” 😭💦
