Lil Doggie Den now offers Puppy Social Classes, led by a trained puppy professional, for pups under 11 lbs. Classes are offered Thursday evenings 6:15pm-7pm and Saturday mornings 11:15am-12pm. If you or someone you know has a little puppy we want to help them grow into a confident, well behaved little dog.

Nina displayed confidence from the moment she walked through the gate. She was comfortable with the pack greeting her with excitement and she immediately fit right in with the pack as her tail was wagging fast with glee. She became instant friends with Emerson - the two played on and off throughout the day. Nina ran around the Den with Jude and Betty Lou. Her and Mogie wrestled about playfully.

She is super popular and has made a wonderful addition to the Lil Doggie Den Pack.

Hey Friends! Here is Kari's plea to spread the word about the Lil Doggie Den bus survey! Know that I really do not like seeing myself on camera so you know this must be important! We really do want more Lil Portland Dogs to join our pack but we have to understand which neighborhood needs us the most. PLEASE Repost our survey video. We need to hear from those little dog owners that are just beyond our borders. We created a very short survey, you can access at the link on our page.

Finley looks a lot like Jude! Because they are siblings! And Finley is just as sweet natured with solid social skills! She came in a little hesitant at first, showing her belly to everyone in greeting. Isa play bowed and wiggled at her feet and the switch flipped! They jetted through the yard, whipping around to lunge at each other. They drew Jam into their chase and the trio tore off, dodging the play structures and turning on a dime. She loved Holmes, who reared up on hind legs to splay his arms wide and bop her on the head. Finley wove between our legs, asking for scratches and praise inbetween all the zoomies.

2. The Den is too far from my house (Hummm)

Sevro was one of those dogs that took a day, or two, to understand how fun it is at Lil Doggie Den. Day one he was cuddly but shy, day 2 he started to open up and made besties with Ziggy. Day 3, he really is coming into his own. So that's what we wanted to focus on. Also, sadly, Sevro's adoptee is having to rehome him for reasons out of her control. 🥺 Such a heartbreaking decision. We are hopeful his new humans will bring him back to The Den. A now familiar and fun place for him.

Ziggy is an enthusiastic and joyful little guy who burst in with confidence on his first day at the den! He greeted the dogs at the door excitedly and began play-bowing. With teasing nips, he coaxed Ellie into a race through the yard, and Tina followed suit. Ziggy was bright and eager to socialize. His blind exuberance charmed some dogs including our shy guy, Sevro. The two tussled and gnawed on each other for much of the day. As he tired, Ziggy became more curious to explore the den and the yard, sniffing out all the things he raced past earlier. We hope to see you at the den soon Ziggy!
