šŸ„¹Aww. Sometimes working with shy dogs can be so rewarding. Bowie is a special guy who went from 'an emo teenager who wonā€™t leave their room' (his human's words) to wagging his tail and accepting some pets from his pal in the span of four visits.

Companionship can be just as important as a walk sometimes. Pets are social animals and long hours alone without interaction can often trigger separation anxiety. Drop-in services are a great way to break up boredom and support your petā€™s emotional health.

Meet Moby and Tony! We recently had, what we would consider, a pretty much perfect overnight service. These two cuties recently moved to town and had their first pet-sitting experience in their new digs. Moby is a 90lb lovable but reactive chonk and Tony has suffered from medical issues over his life. Reactivity and medical concerns can make leaving your pets hard, but finding a trusted pet sitter with the right handling experience allows you to leave that fear behind. Our goal is always to keep your fur babies content, safe, and healthy so you can travel stress-free.

Sometimes our visits look like thisā€”and thatā€™s okay. Caring for nervous pets requires gentle techniques to help them feel comfortable while you're away. We work closely with their humans to build trust and always let pets approach on their own terms, often by avoiding eye contact, using a calm tone and body language, and giving them plenty of space. Having some high-value treats on hand also never hurts! No matter what, your pet's safety and comfort are our top priority! šŸ¾šŸ’•

Ripley and Ziggy have an important message! Back-to-school season can be a big adjustment for your pet, especially when the house suddenly feels a little quieter. They highly recommend you set up your services as a template to help keep your petā€™s weekly routine on trackā€”without adding another thing to your to-do list.
