Purring Hearts Kitten Rescue Meliorism We are a Wisconsin non-profit 501c3 foster based kitten rescue. We care for neonate orphan kittens (birth to 8 weeks old) and feral moms with kittens.

We also provide occasional short term Family Preservation foster care for families in crisis.

I'm sharing this photo from another rescuer. Please if you are trapping, NEVER leave your traps unattended. As you can see so many things can go wrong. Thankfully she is an experienced trapper and never leaves her traps unattended. By the grace of God this kitten wasn't injured. Our mission is to help them. We certainly don't want to hurt them.

Our purring hearts are overflowing with gratitude, love, and pride. We are SO PROUD of our community and their gracious and generous support. You are all soooo amazing!!! We are beyond words. Nothing we could say would express how grateful we are for the constant and never ending support and love for our queens, kittens, and orphans. Our cupboards are restocked, kittens will have full tummies, and we can march onward, saving those out there in need.

Only about 10% of donations arrived with names and emails. For all our donors, please message us with name and email as we truly wish to thank you, and keep you updated with our quarterly newsletter, sharing with you all the successes you made possible!!!

💥💥💥FOOD PLEA💥💥💥

We are running low on dry and wet kitten food again (more so wet kitten food)😬. We currently have 68 cats and kittens in foster care right now. The majority are queens with nursing kittens but we are going to have a huge explosion of kittens transitioning onto wet kitten food. We have 34 kittens transitioning onto wet food within the next 7-10 days. That means we will soon be going through 34 cans per day for these up and coming. Then there are all the kittens and queens currently eating wet kitten food. Then there is dry kibble for everyone.

We rely solely on donations to feed all these little mouths and our supporters have always come together and been there for the cats and kittens in our care. We are always extremely grateful for everyone’s help and support for our rescue and all the kitties in our care. Your generosity does not go unnoticed! You are making a huge difference and playing a big part in saving the most vulnerable in our community.

With our current state of finances in our country, we know this means food is more expensive than ever before. Unfortunately, the need remains the same, as tummies still need to be filled.

Colette is a beautiful long-haired black cat was originally trapped from a feral colony while pregnant and has been lovingly raising her three kittens in foster care. She’s made wonderful progress with socialization and is now show her true, affectionate personality that she was hiding inside.
She absolutely adores her daily brushing sessions and never says no to a Churu treat. With patience and understanding, her friendly, loving nature continues to shine through more each day.
She’s looking for a calm, patient family who will give her the time and support she needs to fully blossom into the companion she’s meant to be. She gets along well with other cats and dogs . She will even ask for affection from her friendly foster dogs. She would love a calm, polite, cat-friendly canine companion.
If you’re willing to give her the time she deserves, you’ll be rewarded with a truly special bond.

She will be ready to join her own forever home once she has finished caring for her kittens.
