Hey friends! Sorry I haven’t posted in a little bit!

Buddy my doggy is finally on the better end of things and completely healed up! My poor old man had to have 12 teeth extracted, and recovery was quite the doozy. Especially at 13 years old! He was already a whiner before all this, so trying to figure out whether he was being dramatic or actually in pain was a challenge. There’s even washable diapers involved 😂

Between all that, I wasn’t the best at remembering to take pictures of my clients’ buns, but I do have some pictures to share from a recent surrender I accepted on behalf of Space Coast Bunny Rescue!

Just a little Hoppy Helper update 💛

My 13 year old senior dog, Buddy, has an upcoming dental surgery (unavoidable)this coming Wednesday, so over the next week or two there may be times when I’m a little slower to respond than usual while I’m taking care of him, the healing process and handling appointments.

I’m normally pretty available at all hours, so I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up in case it takes me a little longer to get back to a message or responding in my head but never actually did.

All scheduled services and boarding will continue as planned unless I contact you directly.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while I take care of my old guy. 💙

The six-pack has officially made it to the next phase! 🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰

At this point, I’m comfortable calling them essentially bonded. They’re sharing their litter box, eating together, relaxing around each other, and handling the added space really well.

Now I’m following my own rules 😂 — no rushing just because they’re doing great! I’ll be expanding their space a little at a time, about once a week, as long as everyone continues behaving themselves.

Eventually they’ll have one giant space to call their own, but for now we’re keeping it slow, steady, and successful. ❤️

I’m so proud of how far my little crew has come! 💕🎉

Big Bond update!

In true Raisin fashion, she is the drama 🤪 It might be a few more days before I can move on to the next phase of bonding the six, but that’s okay! I’m moving at their pace, and overall everyone is doing really well. 🐰💕

Also any twilight fans out there? 🤣

Some of you may have already known this was coming… but I’m officially taking on a new bonding adventure! 🐰🤍

I’m currently working on bonding SIX bunnies together — four of my own plus two of my longtime fosters who, at this point, I’ve decided I’m just going to foster fail. 😂 They’ve been with me for close to 3 1/2 - 4 years now, and after all this time, I honestly can’t imagine them leaving and going somewhere else. They’re family. 🥹

I’ve bonded plenty of bunnies over the years, but I have NEVER attempted a group of six at once, so this is definitely a learning experience for me too! I’m always looking for ways to continue growing my knowledge and education when it comes to rabbit behavior and bonding, and I’m excited to see what this group teaches me.

Right now, the space technically fits everyone comfortably enough to fully stretch out and relax, but they are definitely a little bumper-to-bumper. 😂 So as we move forward, I’ll be modifying and expanding their setup as needed.

So far, everyone is doing really well! And somehow my little MMA fighter Raisin has actually been fairly decent. 😂 If you know Raisin, you know that’s saying something.

I can’t wait to see how this little six-pack progresses. Wish us luck! 🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🐰🤍

🐰📺 IMPORTANT BUNNY RESEARCH happening over here… 😂

I discovered a while back that a surprising number of disabled buns seem to LOVE watching Peppa Pig. Naturally, this made me wonder… is Peppa Pig secretly a bunny favorite?! 🐷😂

So now I need your help with my very scientific experiment. 🧪🐰

Put Peppa Pig on for your bunny and see what happens! You can even pull it up on YouTube — there’s almost always a live Peppa Pig stream playing somewhere. 😂

If your bunny actually sits there and watches it, snap a picture and post it in the comments because I NEED to see these little babies invested in Peppa’s drama. 🥹🩷

Bonus points if they look like they’ve been watching their favorite show their entire life. 😂

So happy to see these sweet babies doing so well together! 🥹🐰💕

It was such a pleasure helping with their bond, and I’m so grateful Penny and Wild Smalls of South Florida trusted me with them. They do so much for the bunnies in their care, and it means a lot getting to be even a small part of their journey. ❤️ And of course the amazing adopter Helena Fitzgerald 🫶🏻 keep the adorable photos coming!!

Rusty & Junebug have been enjoying their honeymoon at home ever since their successful bond a month ago thanks to Hoppy Helper Services !

We couldn’t be happier for these two star-crossed EC+ seniors, adopted from Penny & Wild almost exactly two years apart, who somehow found their way to each other. 🥹❤️ May this kind of easy love find us all!
