Quick farm update 🍄

Fresh mushroom production is still ramping back up, so our fresh selection will be limited for a little while longer. We took some time away this summer to visit family and friends and temporarily shut down production while we were gone.

One of the realities of growing mushrooms is that when you start back up, there’s no rushing the process.

Cultures have to grow. Grain has to colonize. Blocks have to colonize. Every step takes time.

I’ve been working hard behind the scenes getting the operation back up to speed, and every week we’re getting closer to full production.

Tomorrow I’ll still have plenty of Lion’s Mane and Reishi tinctures available, along with whatever fresh mushrooms are ready to harvest.

Excited to have some fresh mushrooms for the market tomorrow! I’m still getting everything ramped back up but we’ll have pink and blue oysters as well as my personal favorite, pioppino mushrooms tomorrow morning at the Corpus Christi Southside Farmers' Market 🍄‍🟫

I got the grow room fired back up today so I will not have any fresh mushrooms tomorrow but you can get restocked on Lion’s Mane and Reishi tinctures.

Normal mushroom production will ramp up in the coming weeks.

Port A, we’re back Sunday May 3 🌊

Catch us at the Port Aransas Farmers Market from 10am to 2pm at the Fred Rhodes Memorial Pavilion.

This one of our favorite events of the year! So many great vendors and fun for the whole family.

If you’ve been curious about lion’s mane, reishi, or turkey tail, this is the perfect time to try them and ask questions in person.

Happy Easter!

Shoutout to my customer yesterday that gave me these delicious morels 🤤
They went great with the oyster mushrooms and lions mane to make this amazing creamy mushroom sauce.

I will definitely do a full recipe/tutorial for the creamy mushroom sauce in the future because I believe everyone needs to try it 🍄‍🟫
