Our animals are always looking for something soft and cozy to snuggle up in! We are currently in need of blankets for the dogs and cats at the shelter.

If you have clean, gently used blankets you no longer need, we would be so grateful for your donation! Every cozy blanket helps an animal feel a little more at home. 🐶🐱💕

🐾 Holiday Closure Notice 🐾

The Livingston County Humane Society will be closed for the holiday so our staff and volunteers can enjoy some time with their loved ones. ❤️

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our shelter animals! 🐶🐱🐾

LCHS will be closed Friday, September 4th through Monday, September 7th

We will reopen Tuesday, September 8 th during our regular business hours

Brilla had the best day out with our wonderful volunteer, Michelle! 🐾💕

They visited the farmers market and The Dogs Bark before heading back to Michelle's house for a relaxing spa day - complete with some delicious ice cream! 🍦🛁

A perfect day filled with adventures, pampering, and lots of love. Thank you, Michelle, for giving Brilla such a special day! ❤️

🐾❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU to Striegel Knobloch & Company! ❤️🐾

We had some amazing people from Striegel Knobloch & Company spend a couple of hours volunteering at the Livingston County Humane Society! 🐶🐱

They jumped right in and even got to help with feeding time for some of the newest members of our Humane Society family! 🍼🐾

There’s nothing quite like a little puppy and kitten love to make a volunteer day extra special! 🥰
