Esmee’s babies are 4½ weeks old and ElsBeth’s babies are 3 weeks old… and this is when the fun really gets turned up! 🐾❤️
They’re playing with toys, wrestling with each other, exploring everything, and ALL of them love being held and loved on. I lay them on their backs, play with their feet, hold them upright, hold them upside down, kiss them, let them kiss me… and they are so calm and comfortable with all of it. This is such an important part of how I raise my babies.
They’ve also been spending a couple of hours each day outside in their outdoor pen, enjoying some fresh air and sunshine. They’ve walked on the deck and hardwood floors, experienced slipping and sliding on plastic, and even explored the plastic swimming pool I use for them. Their surface experiences have already been wonderfully broad! 😂
Now, some of Esmee’s babies are already becoming little TERRORS. 😂 They think it’s great fun to beat up on ElsBeth’s sweet, innocent little fuzzy bears. But give those babies another week — they’re already starting to stand up for themselves!
And if I don’t wear my slippers, I’m in serious trouble. These babies already have teeth, and they are literally little ankle biters! My toes and ankles are apparently their favorite chew toys. 😂
ElsBeth’s babies are seriously the softest, fluffiest little teddy bears. They are absolutely precious, and every single one of these puppies is going to be beautiful.
Everyone is eating gruel now — even ElsBeth’s babies! They are fed three times a day, and I am pretty sure I’m personally keeping the goat milk industry in business. 😂 They LOVE it. Thank GOD for goats!!
Esmee is starting to dry up, while ElsBeth is currently the lone b***y bar around here. 🤣
They are SO fun, so cuddly, and so incredibly sweet. I know it probably sounds impossible to truly get to know 18 puppies individually, but I’m doing it. I’m learning their personalities, their little quirks, who’s bold, who’s cuddly, who starts the trouble, and who would rather sit in my lap and give kisses.
Most importantly, they are all thriving, healthy, happy babies.
We are so incredibly blessed. ❤️🐾
