🚨🐕‼️Trigger Warning: tears may be shed 🥹🐾💕

I love to meet your pets - at all stages of their life. Being part of their growth and development, walking through the transitions and relationship building as they age, and often a support as you have to say goodbye…it is a privilege that I’m glad to share with pet parents and their families.

Recently some longtime friends of The Hometown Vet Tech have lost their beloved companions to the Rainbow Bridge. In the face of such loss, I’d love to hold space for anyone who’s missing their dear pets and would like to share memories. Please post your photos, stories, videos.

In the meantime, I am sharing the names of my sweet patients who’ve recently crossed from our world to the next - and whose memories we will keep alive by remembering them always.

Most of you know me as the girl who offers vet tech support and grooming/dignity care to seniors, mobility challenged, and anxious/stressed pets. But I also see some pups for regular nail trims and medical care who happen to be show dogs!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to attend my first ever dog show with the Pilgrim Basset Hound Club, at Performance Plus K9 Activity Center. This was a chance to spend time behind the scenes to watch specific breeds do what they do best, and learn along the way.
Thanks to my talented and dog loving friend Heather Cole, whose bassets I have the privilege of seeing routinely (and who also catered the entire event along with her talented colleague Richard- they fed us all home made food and desserts!), and to Belinda and Nancy who showed hounds through out the day and have dedicated their lives to special care for a wonderful breed.

A special shout out to Mick (pictured first) who took home a 🥇&🥈prize in the ring for the day, following in the footsteps of his award-winning father, Quigley.

📣📣 Call for your positive reviews for a dog pro!!

Many of you came to know me or have been referred to me by my talented sister Allison Cazeault who was a long time professional groomer in MA - she also was instrumental in helping me gain traction as a pioneering veterinary professional in our region, giving me space and encouragement to launch my own medical services and nail trim clinics for senior/anxious/stressed/less mobile pets ONE to ONE, which had not been previously done on the south shore, and which is now an instrumental part of gentle and affordable care for many pets from Cape Cod to Scituate area.

Allison is a talented and dedicated dog groomer, having built 3 successful businesses in Tennessee, then Scituate & Kingston, MA, with over 2 decades of experience and leadership in her field. She has moved to Florida and is now building a permanent home there, with a new grooming business called Tailored Grooms of Venice Island 🏝️👙☀️🐾🛁💈

I will be back to full time with the puppies and kitties in September but momentarily limited to 2-3 days a week with your pets.

🐾🦴Here is what The Hometown Vet Tech has been up to for the last few months - splitting my time between the road where I work as your dedicated mobile vet tech to America’s Hometown and surrounding south shore - and also as a marine biologist on the water in NOAA's Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary!

The season is in full swing for both the whales off our coast, and the pets who need an extra hand…
Ask me about my whale work as a naturalist and educator with local ecotourism and educational orgs - I love to talk about it! 😆🐋
