He came by today for desensitization to grooming, dremmeling and a nice long session of play after.

Speaking of puppies, puppy class starts June Wednesday 10th.

Our club is having an open house this weekend! If you’ve ever wanted to check out Mondio ring or even just watch some fun demos of the sport come join us!

I will also be set up as a vendor offering nail trims and dremmeling. I am unsure if I will have access to my POS system so this will cash only nail services at this time.

**This event is down in Hillsborough NH, not Plymouth, so the shop will be closed this weekend. **

Kristina, Ryka’s mom, specializes in one on one behavioral grooming and training support for dogs who may struggle with handling, grooming, veterinary care restraint, or reactivity. “My goal is to create a safer, more positive experience for both dogs and their owners through clear communication, patience, and individualized care. I’m especially passionate about helping difficult dogs, as well as our elderly canine friends who may need a little extra time, care and support during their spa days.”

Kristina will be offering nail trims and dremeling at our Open House starting at 11am for $20. For this event, we will only be accepting cash or Venmo. Thank you for understanding.

Lola hit the trails early this morning to proof her off leash e-collar conditioning.

Lola goes on weekly hikes with Backcountry Paws Dog Walking, and I am so impressed with her trail manners. One of the most satisfying and natural forms of enrichment for our dogs is time off in nature. So ditch the lick mats and food puzzles and get outdoors. If you’re looking for someone professional and fun to get your dog out, give them a shout.

Poppy the poodle has been working hard on off leash manners and impulse control. Now we’re really challenging him with focus around other dogs. He is a social butterfly but it’s time to learn that seeing a dog does not automatically mean it’s time for a social interaction.

Exciting news 🐾

As we head toward summer, I’ll be casually looking to bring on a dog groomer to join Valhalla K9 Services. Grooming has been something I’ve enjoyed offering for the area, and I’d love to keep that service available as the business grows.

This would be a 1-on-1 grooming position, working independently with dogs in a calm environment. Because of that, experience in the pet industry is required. The position will be commission-based, with the freedom to create and maintain your own schedule.

I often have training sessions or day training happening during the day, so the right person will need to be confident, reliable, and comfortable working independently while handling their own grooming clients.

Right now this is part-time with the potential to grow into full-time for the right person.
