Right now, we have a particular need for volunteers available during weekday morning shifts, but we welcome anyone interested in learning more about how they can help.

Every volunteer plays a role in giving animals a second chance—from providing daily care and enrichment to fostering vulnerable kittens and helping pets find loving homes.

Two months ago, Buddy and Dotty were facing an uncertain future. Today, they’re exactly where they belong.

When 16-year-old Dotty and her 14-year-old son Buddy lost the only home they’d ever known, we knew finding them a new family together wouldn’t be easy. Senior cats are often overlooked, and bonded pairs can wait even longer.

But thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, fosters, supporters, and one very special adopter, these two are now settling into their new home.

Dotty spent her first night curled up in bed and is already claiming laps as her favorite place to nap. Buddy is taking his time exploring every corner before settling into a comfy armchair of his own.

Stories like this are why we do what we do. Every adoption creates space to save another life, but more importantly, it gives animals the second chance they deserve.

Happy tails, Buddy and Dotty. We couldn’t be happier for you both. 🐾❤️

Adopt 1-year old Bubbles. This girl has it all: beauty and brains. Her striking almost exotic looks and her lean and lanky physique are really no match to her personality.

Bubbles is very friendly and confident. She knows how to work a room and is usually the first to get the conversation started. Super playful (loves wand toys and carrying toys in her mouth), her endless curiosity leads her on explorations following her people around and racing through tunnels. And with access to a sunny window, she is enthralled with bird watching and chatting at the delivery drivers.

Bubbles has finally found the diet that helps her feel her best, and she’s been thriving ever since. She’ll just need to stay on her Biome food so she can keep living her happiest and comfiest life.

We know hearing ‘prescription diet’ can feel overwhelming. When we actually broke down the daily food cost, though, it came out to be slightly less than the price of a medium coffee per day. For the right person, the trade off is absolutely worth it to keep a cat healthy and comfortable.

Other than eating a prescription diet, she’s just a normal cat who wants sunny windows, someone to love, and the company of an other friendly cat to spend her days with.

Name’s Tink. A funny name because I’m a funny gal. And yes, those are thumbs and I plan to use them.

I’m a cow-spotted, cloudy-eyed original with a playful streak and a strong opinion about being included in everything you’re doing.

My vision isn’t perfect, so I experience the world a little differently - mostly through touch (hello, grabby mittens) and curiosity. Sometimes I get a little enthusiastic with my paws and playful nibbles. It’s not attitude - it’s just my way of figuring things out and joining the fun.

I’m confident, social, and not one to sit on the sidelines. I’d do best in an indoor-only home with cat-experienced adults who appreciate a hands-on, slightly chaotic, and deeply entertaining companion. Someone who gets that “different” is actually the best part.

Norah and Tabitha (now Cathy) were adopted together on March 1st, and hearing how loved they are absolutely melts our hearts. From zoomies and cuddle sessions to bedtime snuggles and “tag” down the hallway, these girls are thriving in their new home.

Norah has become the adventurous, playful social butterfly of the family, while Cathy has fully embraced her role as a professional cuddle bug and devoted daddy’s girl. And after a little adjustment period, the two are now inseparable sisters. 🐾

This is why we do what we do. Thank you to their adopters for giving these sweet girls the loving forever home they deserve.
