💙🐾 SOME THINGS JUST COME FULL CIRCLE! 🐾💙

We are SO happy to announce that sweet Odin from Marlee's Kisses Great Dane Rescue will be flying to me THIS WEEKEND on a private plane! ✈️❤️

And this one is extra special to my heart. 🥹

You see, Odin’s forever family is already part of our DDS family! Years ago, they adopted Thanos, one of the very first Danes I ever placed through Daisy’s Dane Sanctuary. Sadly, they lost their sweet boy, and now another very special Dane is about to help heal a little piece of their hearts. ❤️

When I traveled to Alabama, I met Odin in person, and let me tell you… I FELL IN LOVE! From the moment I laid eyes on him, I wanted that boy! There was just something about him that stole my heart.

And now, knowing he’s going to a family I already know and love makes this even sweeter.

And can we talk about how amazing his transportation is?! ✈️

Kristen will be putting Odin on Joe’s plane in Eldridge, and I’ll be waiting on the runway near my house to get that sweet boy off the plane myself!

Some of you may remember Joe! We’ve used him before to transport Knox, and this incredible man is ALWAYS waiting for another mission to help save a dog. ❤️

I am beyond thankful for Pilots N Paws and people like Joe who generously give their time, planes, and hearts to help rescue dogs get where they belong.

From one of my very first DDS Danes to another beautiful boy getting his second chance. I can’t help but think Thanos had a little something to do with this one. 🌈🐾

Odin, your new chapter is about to begin, sweet boy, and I cannot WAIT to welcome you with open arms!

🩵🩷 TWO LEGACIES. ONE MISSION. TO SAVE OUR WH***EY GIRL! 🩷🩵

Two rescues. Two very special dogs who started it all. And now, one mission that means everything. Daisy’s Dane Sanctuary and Marlee's Kisses Great Dane Rescue are joining forces to SAVE WH***EY! ❤️

Many of you may remember Wh***ey. She was the beautiful Great Dane we rushed to help when she had been in labor for over 24 hours. Tragically, none of her puppies survived, and Wh***ey was fighting severe infection and mastitis. She needed an emergency C-section and intensive medical care just to have a fighting chance.

After everything she had been through, I made the decision to leave Wh***ey in the care of Kristen at Marlee’s Kisses because I simply didn’t feel she was stable enough to make the trip to Missouri.

And thank God I did. ❤️

Kristen has fought tirelessly for this girl, and unfortunately, Wh***ey’s battle is far from over.

Wh***ey has now been diagnosed with an esophageal stricture, a narrowing of her esophagus that makes it extremely difficult for her to keep food down. She’s losing weight, struggling to get the nutrition she desperately needs, and will require a balloon dilation procedure.

She now needs a specially built Bailey chair to help her eat upright and keep food down. The chair alone costs $463, and that’s just one piece of what it’s going to take to save her.

But here’s where our DDS family comes in. 🩵

I KNOW what this family is capable of. I’ve watched you move mountains for dogs that everyone else had given up on. And I’m asking you to help us move one more mountain for Wh***ey.

We are one step closer to making our dream a reality!

We are beyond excited to share that our offer on the property we’ve been pursuing for DDS’s future home has been accepted! 🏡❤️

There are still several steps ahead, including due diligence, rezoning, and finalizing the purchase, but this is a HUGE milestone for our rescue!

I honestly don’t even know how to put into words what this means to me.

To everyone who has believed in me, supported DDS and stood beside us through it all, thank you. This dream isn’t just mine anymore. It’s ours.

It all started with Daisy. And look how far her love has taken us. 🐾❤️

I know, I know… EVERYONE wanted me to keep Sully. And trust me, I wanted to keep him too. More than you know. ❤️

I’ll admit, I cried when he left. That boy stole a huge piece of my heart.

But as much as I wanted him to stay, I knew with how busy the rescue is, it wouldn’t be fair to him.

Sully deserved to be someone’s whole world… not just another piece of mine. ❤️

So I made the decision that was best for HIM, even if it wasn’t what my heart wanted.

And I couldn’t be happier to announce that SULLY FOUND THE BEST FAMILY!!! 🎉💙

Even better… his new family created him his very own page so ALL of you who fell in love with him can continue following his adventures! 😍🐾

✈️🌴 WELL… I ABANDONED JESS & LEXY! 😂🐾

I landed in Florida a few hours ago to spend some much-needed time with my parents and take a little break from the DDS chaos. ❤️

Meanwhile, back in Missouri… Jess and Lexy are probably questioning every life decision that led them to working for me. 🤣🤣

Because while I’m soaking up some Florida sunshine, we STILL have a litter of puppies who have absolutely NO respect for anyone’s sanity. 💩🐶

They need p**p cleaned up, bellies fed, and LOTS of cuddles! And let’s not forget my THREE spoiled Danes who are going to need some extra love and attention while their momma is gone. 🐾❤️

SOOOO… CAN Y’ALL PLEASE HELP ME SAVE JESS & LEXY’S SANITY?! 😂🙏

Who would’ve thought the little trash baby found at just 10 days old would grow up to be OSCAR THE GROUCH?! 🤣🤣

Except this time the trash comes with a fully stocked snack bar, a personal chauffeur, and a mother who has clearly lost her mind. 🤦‍♀️😂

And the LOOK on his face! He is absolutely judging every life decision I’ve ever made. 💀🤣

Those words hold so much of what DDS has become. Every dog who finds safety. Every family who finds their missing piece. Every person who tells me this rescue gave them purpose during a dark time. It all started with Daisy. 🩵
