What's your favorite breed of horses?
I had never been around the Gypsy Vanner breed, until I entered the Touched By A Horse program in June 2024. This photo shoot (few years back) was a fun one for sure!
And these gypsies get to work along side Melisa , while she coaches us in the program (and we become coaches along side them in our Jr and Sr semesters) - they are really sentient and kind souls.

I personally believe that there are few greater things, that I can do for my horses, than to provide them space to be horses. No agenda. No interference. Just time to be.
Roaming. Grazing. Friends.

I remember thinking, in my teen years, that in order to get people to listen to me and want to be around me - I had to be louder. More energetic. Funner. More exciting.
I had decided to change who I was.
For them. Not for me.

Learning through the years that this was not only UNTRUE to me and who I am , but it was for their liking - only created turbulence in me. Stirred me up. Not in good ways either.
In ways that pleased others.
Outgrowing “people pleasing” is hard. It’s painful.
But through Gestalt Equine Coaching, I have made great progress. And I can now coach YOU through the same changes! 🤗

Their pecking order fascinates me.
Roman, our smallest horse, with special needs is in charge. Like in a BIG way!
The other 2 quarterhorses that he is always with are both close to 16 hands and well over 1200lbs, both fully shawed and mighty performers! But they respect the heck out of Roman and he knows it. He isn’t aggressive, but he’s firm and resilient.
They aren’t aggressive with him either.
He is closer to 800lbs and right at 15 hands. He’s healthy and happy. He loves his friends and being in change 💕

Pinning to the top.
My why. My purpose. My “reason”.

Life’s seasons are ever changing. Evolving. Demanding growth.
When God puts something on my heart, repeatedly, I listen. I tune in. I choose to seek instead of hide.
Almost 3 years ago, He did just that. He challenged me. And I accepted.
