Here is sweet Miss Rosie with Elly, LVT 💛

Rosie recently came to see us after an unfortunate encounter with a porcupine and those quills are no joke! Porcupine quills can quickly become a serious medical emergency if not treated properly.

Thankfully, Rosie was in great hands with Elly and our veterinary team while getting the care she needed. 🐾

If your pet ever gets into porcupine quills:
⚠️ Do not remove them at home
⚠️ Seek veterinary care immediately
⚠️ Quills can migrate deeper into tissue and cause severe complications

We’re so happy Rosie is on the road to recovery!
