This girl is going to be a stunner! I canโ€™t wait to see her mature into a beautiful predator!

Species: Parasphendale affinis
Common name: Budwing mantis
Native to: East Africa
Habitat: Warm, dry shrub lands and subtropical forests
Key characteristics: They are prone to chasing their prey, rather than waiting in ambush. The sexual dimorphism in adults is quite jarring. The females are around 3 to 4 inches long, with very plump abdomens, while the males are much shorter and leaner, coming in around 1 to 1.5 inches long, with fully functional wings.

They are a very active species, which makes them fun to observe, even when they arenโ€™t eating or on the way to eat.

Frog #1 is the shy one. Always late to dinner, but still likes to bite whatever is can.

Frog #2 likes to croak. They always try and jump out of their habitat!

Frog #3 loves to eat their siblingsโ€™ faces and do parkour with the tongs.
