Animal Lifeline Pittsburgh We are a non-profit, volunteer organization providing a New Beginning to homeless pets within our community and beyond.

We are comprised of individuals who share a passion to create a better and kinder world for all of the creatures living amongst us. We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humane solutions to animals in need of a second chance. Our organization, made up of caring volunteers, provides free transport to at risk animals from overcrowded shelters, disaster relief and animal cruelty conditions.

“Grow old with me, the best is yet to be!” – Robert Browning
We have sooo many amazing adult and senior dogs waiting for a forever home. Many came from loving homes where the owner passed or was no longer able to care for them and some came from people who should have never owned a dog…. Regardless, they all deserve love for the rest of their lives.
Fortunately, we are here to be the stepping stone to give them a safe and loving place to land until they find their forever home again.
We love them all so much but we see the pain and the sadness of not understanding where the person they loved and who loved them, just disappeared to one day. They deserve a forever where they can comfortably live out their days with their person and to know that security of being “home”
These dogs all have a lot of life in them and even more love to share.

Puppies are great and we have plenty of those too, but so many people are missing out by looking past the ones with a little gray in their muzzle.

Lucas is a sweet 3–4-month-old mixed-breed puppy. Lucas is a busy and playful boy, always ready for some fun! 🐶💙

This affectionate boy absolutely loves his snuggles and is happiest when he can be close to his people. He’s playful, energetic, and full of puppy personality, but he also has a wonderfully cuddly side.

Lucas is looking for a loving forever family who will give him plenty of playtime, attention, and guidance. ❤️

Ollie is a pleasant and good-natured little guy who has a heart full of love and is ready to find a family to call his own. Don’t let this thirteen-year-old Puggle with a frosted face fool you, he’s got s***k and energy!!
Ollie enjoys going for twice daily walks, especially when there’s a chance to say hello to the neighbors — and their dogs! 🐶 He’s friendly with just about everyone he meets and does wonderfully with children of all ages, dogs, cats, and adults. He’s happy hanging in the yard too!
When he’s not out socializing, Ollie is perfectly happy enjoying one of his favorite activities: napping! 💤 He is low maintenance and loves hanging on the couch.
He’s accustomed to living with other dogs
Ollie is potty and crate trained.
