There are days when I do not even realize how exhausted I am until my dog quietly comes over and stays close to me without asking for anything, just watching me with those soft eyes like they somehow already know the weight I have been carrying all day, and I swear no person in the world notices my silence the way this dog does because when everything feels loud and overwhelming, they become this steady little presence beside me that makes breathing feel easier again, and it breaks my heart sometimes knowing they cannot understand my words but still understand my feelings better than most humans ever could, loving me so fully without hesitation, conditions, or a single ounce of doubt in their heart 🥹
