🎓 TRAINING CHALLENGE: Don’t just take your dog shopping. Give them a job!

✅ Practice walking nicely on a loose leash.
✅ Work on ignoring people, carts, and distractions.
✅ Practice a calm sit while you stop to look at something.
✅ Reward your dog for checking in with YOU instead of pulling toward everything they see!

Remember, the goal isn’t to meet every person or every dog. It’s to teach your dog how to stay calm and focused in the real world!

NOW I WANT TO KNOW! Where is YOUR favorite place to take your dog on a rainy day? Drop the store name below! 👇 Let’s help other local dog owners find new places to explore with their pups!

🍂🐾 DID YOU KNOW YOUR DOG SEES FALL DIFFERENTLY THAN YOU DO? 🍁👀

Those beautiful red, orange, and yellow fall leaves we love so much? Your dog may be seeing a VERY different picture!

Dogs don’t see the world in the same colors we do!

Reds & oranges: These colors can look more like shades of brown, gray, or yellowish tones to your dog.

Yellows: Dogs can see yellow pretty well!

Blues: Blue is one of the colors dogs see best.

Greens: Green can look more like yellowish or grayish shades.

🍁 So while you’re admiring those gorgeous red and orange leaves, your dog may be seeing a world of yellows, blues, browns, and muted tones!

🐾 Here’s the really cool part: Dogs rely much more on their incredible sense of smell than their color vision. That pile of leaves isn’t just something to look at… it’s a whole world of exciting smells, hidden critters, and new things to investigate! 🍂🐿️

🐾🚂 A little Poconos adventure with my favorite four-legged travel buddies! 🍂❤️

We took the dogs on the Jim Thorpe Scenic Railroad through the Lehigh Gorge, and what a beautiful way to spend the day! 🍁🐶 Between the gorgeous scenery, fresh air, and getting to experience something new together, it was a trip to remember!

As a dog trainer, I love getting my dogs out to experience the world with me. Training isn’t just about obedience in the backyard — it’s about teaching our dogs how to navigate new places, new experiences, and adventures alongside us! 🐾

🐶 Let’s hear it! Have you ever taken your dog on a train ride or a fun adventure like this? And if you could take your dog anywhere for a day trip, where would you go? 👇
