🌩️ HOW DOES YOUR DOG HANDLE A STORM? 🐾

After the severe storms we had last night, I’m curious… what did your dog do when the thunder started? 👀

Some dogs sleep right through it like nothing happened.
Others pace, pant, shake, hide, bark, cling to their people, or try to find the safest spot in the house.

And here’s the thing—storm anxiety isn’t just your dog being “dramatic.” The loud, unpredictable noises, changes in air pressure, wind, lightning, and even your own reaction can make storms a really stressful experience for some dogs.

🐶 Tell me about your dog!

👇 What does your dog do during a storm?

❤️ Sleeps through it
😰 Shakes or pants
🏃 Runs/hides
🐕 Stays glued to you
🗣️ Barks or becomes restless
🛏️ Finds their own safe spot
🤷‍♀️ Doesn’t care at all!

Drop your dog’s name + what they do during storms in the comments! 👇

And remember—training isn’t just about sit and stay. Teaching your dog how to settle, focus on you, and feel safe during stressful situations can make a huge difference when real-life surprises happen.

🐾 DOG TRAINING DOESN’T STOP AT YOUR FRONT DOOR! 🐾

One of the best things you can do for your dog is practice out in the real world. 🌎🐕

The backyard is great… but can your dog listen when there are people walking by, other dogs, cars, noises, smells, and distractions everywhere? 👀

Public training helps your dog learn to:
✅ Focus on YOU around distractions
✅ Walk nicely on a leash
✅ Stay calm around people & dogs
✅ Practice obedience in real-life situations
✅ Build confidence and good manners

And remember—a well-trained dog isn’t just obedient at home. They’re prepared for the real world. 💜

🥵☀️ IT’S HOT HOT HOT! 🐶

Who else has a dog that thinks they STILL need to go outside and play all day?! 😂🙋‍♀️

When it’s too hot for a long walk, try tiring their BRAIN instead! 🧠🐾

🧊 Frozen treats or stuffed Kongs
👃 Hide & seek with treats
🎓 5–10 minutes of training
🧩 Puzzle toys or snuffle mats
💦 Kiddie pool or supervised water play
📦 DIY “find it” games around the house

A tired dog doesn’t always need to be a physically exhausted dog! 😉

🌙🐾 LET’S TALK BEDTIME ROUTINES! 🐾🌙

Does your dog know when it’s time to settle down for the night… or do they suddenly get a second wind at 10 PM? 😂

I want to hear what everyone’s nighttime routine looks like! 👇

Do you:
🐶 Take a walk before bed?
🦴 Give them a chew?
🧘‍♀️ Do some calm obedience work?
🏠 Send them to their crate/place?
😴 Or do they just crash wherever they happen to be?

COMMENT BELOW 👇 — What is ONE thing you do with your dog every night before bedtime?

And if your dog’s bedtime routine is basically “zoomies until everyone gives up”… 😂 tell us that too!

Let’s see how many different doggie bedtime routines we have! 🐾💜

🐾 Training hard deserves a little fun! 💦🐶

After a great training session, sometimes the best reward is simply getting to be a DOG! ❤️

This pup worked hard, listened well, and earned some pond time to let loose and have some fun. 🐕💦

We believe training should be about more than just obedience—it’s about building a happy, confident dog who knows when it’s time to work and when it’s time to play! 🐾

Work hard. Make good choices. Earn the fun! 😍

🐾 TRAINING TIP TUESDAY

One of the biggest mistakes I see dog owners make is thinking their dog is being “stubborn” when they don’t listen.

Most of the time, it’s not that simple.

Your dog may know the command perfectly when you’re standing in your living room with no distractions…

…but put them outside, add another dog, people, squirrels, smells, or a little excitement—and suddenly it’s like they’ve never heard that command before.

That’s why training needs to gradually happen in different places and around different distractions.

Don’t just practice when it’s easy.

Practice when it’s a little harder, too.

Start small. Build success. Then increase the distractions.

What’s the one command your dog seems to “forget” the second you leave the house? 👇
