Curious how often you are seeing this at your shelter… A pet comes in, you scan, and there is a microchip. But then the information is missing, outdated, or not registered at all.

From your experience, what is the most common issue you run into once you find a chip? Is it unregistered pets, old phone numbers, or something else?

It feels like this is one of the biggest gaps in the whole reunification process, and it is something most pet owners do not even realize is happening behind the scenes.
