Because History is cool and who doesn’t want another reason to celebrate our breed!

On July 4th 1925 Dr Charles Thornton's (Missoula Montana) dog, Senta v Hohenbruck from Austria (Herr Edwardt Reindt of Bruck-an-der-Leitha), delivered the 1st litter of GSPs born in the United States.
She crossed the ocean with those seven pups inside her, six survived.

Today was a perfect example
This Little girl has never met Groot before, yet his temperament made trust come naturally and they both did some amazing water work drills.
The cherry on top was watching him work for her just like he would for me without skipping a beat.

Groot hit the show ring for the first time this weekend at the New castle Memorial Day cluster. He was confident and handled great, not to shabby for two newbies!
