A little late to posting, but I am pleased to announce Groot took home the Associated Bird Dog Clubs of Ohio 2025 Open Gun Dog of the year and the combined Gun Dog of the year awards.

First year out as a Broke dog and he blew us away, a huge thanks to Almost heaven kennels for training our special boy… “Baby Grooottt”

A very special day! Groot got to step into the role as a junior handler’s dog for the very first time at the butler county KC show and they went out there and won their class!

Moments like this are such a great reminder that temperament matters just as much as everything else we strive for in our dogs. It's one thing to have a beautiful dog who can perform , but it's another to have a dog you can simply hand off to a young handler, trust completely, and know he'll happily go to work for them.

So proud of this team and especially proud of the steady, willing, trustworthy dog Groot continues to be. A great temperament makes moments like this possible, and watching the two of them succeed together made it that much sweeter.

Congratulations Ethan and Groot, and also to his twin brother Mark with his great dog William🎊

A fantastic course for any women looking to get into wingshooting or improve their skills, highly
Recommend!
