Ice Cream Social: Chance’s 3rd Birthday Bash!

📍Ivy’s Doggie Ice Cream Pawlor, 4126 Butler St, Pittsburgh PA 15201

Chance will be turning 3 and we will be having a party to celebrate!

Join us at Ivy’s Doggie Ice Cream Pawlor for some scoops for the hounds next Saturday September 26th. There will be pizza for the humans - pitch in $5 cash to Jackie (Chance’s mom) for a couple slices.

It’s the dog days of summer, and the hounds are back for another summer hound hike! 🥾🐾

Join us this Saturday August 29th, 2026 for a 1.6 mile hike around Fall Run Park in Glenshaw, PA.

This is an ON LEASH event. This is a nice shaded trail, following a stream, and surrounded by small waterfalls. While it’s cool in the shade, don’t forget to bring water for you and your pup. Also, make sure your hound is up to date on tick prevention, as the ticks have been crazy this year! (And consider insect repellent for yourself if you’re also a bug magnet!). 🦟🚫

📍 Allegheny RiverTrail Park, 285 River Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15215 (Meet @ Dog Park)

Join us Monday June 29th for a special-edition hound hike at Allegheny RiverTrail Park, in Aspinwall as Pride month comes to a close. We will meet at the Dog Park around 6pm for a 1.5 to 2 mile hound hike by the riverfront. This is a flat trail with no elevation, and while the pathways around the park are paved, the hiking trails are gravel / dirt.

Additionally, be sure to check out Pride in the Park, a family-focused gathering to connect and celebrate LGBTQIA+ students and families in the Pittsburgh area. There will be vendors, food, and activities at the park from 4pm-8pm. Our hound hike around the park will start at 6pm, but feel free to come earlier for Pride in the Park. All are welcome, whether you’re a member of the LGBTQIA community or want to show your support as an ally! See yinz on Monday!

Join us this Saturday for the Pittsburgh Marathon Pet Walk! 🐶🐾💛

Join the hounds at the Pittsburgh Marathon Pet Walk for a 1-mile walk around Point State Park! Registration is 35$ for the first dog (5$ extra for an additional dog), and all proceeds will donated to the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP). In addition, we will be fundraising for The Izzie Fund, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides financial support to responsible dog owners to cover veterinary expenses, keeping families together one dog at a time. 💛
