Well, last night was a lot of fun. 😭 I was outside playing with the adult dogs when I heard a loud popping sound. Thinking it was someone doing target practice (which happens often because I live out in the country), I didn’t think anything of it. But then the pops got louder and turned into a grinding cracking sound. The dogs started barking and freaking out, and I turned around to see an absolutely massive pine tree falling straight towards where I was standing. I ran for it, yelled tor my dogs to also run for it, and seconds later the tree came crashing down in the exact spot I was just standing mere seconds ago. It smashed my fence to smithereens, and took down another tree in its way. Thank God nobody was hurt. The poodles all got out through their new found gate in the fence and had a delightful romp all over the neighborhood. 😭 Thankfully I was able to get everyone back fairly quickly, but it was a VERY stressful and chaotic time. 😭

The fence will be replaced and the tree will be removed. The dogs aren’t hurt and I’m ok. Lots to be thankful for today. ❤️

Pocket💙 & Pebble❤️ are the cutest little “twins” I’ve ever seen and I’m so obsessed with both of them. 💙❤️ They’re both getting so chubby! Love to see newborns nursing so well. Olive is absolutely outstanding at taking care of her babies. She pushes them all towards her to make sure nobody ever misses time at the milk bar. 🥰🥰

At this time I only have males available from this litter. Puppy selections will happen when they turn 6-7 weeks old, after their temperament testing has been completed. Contact me directly if you’d like more information.

Guys! Look at my shirt!! It says “BOODLE!“ 😂😂😂 How perfect is that?!

So many of you have asked me over the last 10 years: “what’s a boodle?” Well, Boodle was my nickname as a kid. When I was growing up, I asked my dad why he decided on that as a nickname, and what it meant. He told me he didn’t really know what it was exactly, he just thought of it as a round, curly, chubby thing that was really cute. 😂 Thanks a lot, Dad. 😂🙄 “Boodle” has stuck with me for my entire life, and it was too good of an opportunity when I was thinking about what to call my breeding program. I immediately landed on Boodle’s Standard Poodles, and the rest is history.

It has also come to my attention over the years that a “boodle” is what some people call a bulldog crossed with a poodle. While I love bulldogs, and I obviously love poodles, I would never encourage a cross like that. 🙄 So, sorry, I only breed standard and moyen-sized poodles!
