WOW! Can you believe this is Willow’s FIRST DAY and she’s already chaining behaviors with no queue. This is why training young is so important. Puppies are sponges and will learn quickly.

Reverse Board and Train Remi practicing his off leash heel, even though he isn’t an off leash student! Remi has done so well with learning heel we decided to practice off leash work while we were out one day! He made a little mistake but that’s alright for day one of off leash work!

Day Train Frankie was out this morning practicing when we were stopped by another person working with their dog. This time lapse is over about 10 minutes with Frankie being calm and listening around a dog about 10 or so feet away! Major improvements from her!

Remember boarder Chi? She is graduating phase 1 this week and has come so far with her grooming!! So proud of her. She hasn’t tried to bite the tools once at all in quite a few sessions. There are still moments she wants to take away her paw, which is amazing progress! If one area is too much at that moment I rather her tell me with moving her paw then biting at the razor/scissors/comb!!!

Sophie like most doodles LOVE people. So much she jumps on everyone she can. She just finished her 2nd week of training and is KILLING it so far. Practicing her sit stays and her heel in Lowe’s today for her field trip.

Board and Train Chi has been working very hard to over come her fear of grooming. In short sessions we’ve been reintroducing combing, scissors, and a razor so her fur can be well maintained. She’s going great so far!! Just 2 weeks ago she would run away from or bite the grooming tools. Now in short sessions she is allowing grooming. During the rest of her time will are going to make those sessions a little longer, but she’s made massive improvements so far!

***TRAINING IN PROGRESS***
Jackson just hit the halfway mark of his board and train which means… FIELD TRIPSSSS! His first one was to Home Depot, he did so well for his first one! He’ll now be going on a field trip every day along with his normal training so he is a good boy everywhere not just at home!

Frankie is still working on her threshold when it comes to reacting to dogs. Today she worked on being calm laying down and listening while one passed by. Reactivity takes a lot of practice and consistency to even begin having a neutral response. I’m so proud of the hard work Frankie is putting in!
