Missy was my best friend for 16 1/2 years. The sweetest dog ever. Very smart. Independent but so loving, tail wagging all the time when she saw me. Her friend, Chloe, will miss her too. Chloe loved Missy and liked to sleep touching her or within an inch of her. I miss her with all my heart, and I look all over the house, thinking she'll be there, near me. She had the best life, spoiled all the time. We always slept together, and I miss my bedtime and all-day partner. She had a great life. Goodbye, my best friend. You are loved forever and ever and missed every day and every moment.

Cosmo – Thank you for a great 15 years! You were a big part of our kids growing up and a “willing” participant to being carried like a football when they were younger. We appreciate your willingness to try to taste test everything if we were not looking. We hope that you have a wonderful afterlife in the great dog park in the sky!

Our beloved JD. We rescued you at 5 yrs old, you would be 18 in December. When you first came, you were very shy and didn't make a sound your first 3 months you were with us. Then one day you were sitting in your chair and barked at the mailman!
We knew then you finally felt at home. You were always such a good boy, never giving us anything but love. And we hope we returned that love tenfold. You will be forever loved and missed. Thank you Angel Vet for letting our boy go peacefully at home with family and friends.

Scotty
My boy was by my side for 17yrs. We both found each other lost and unsure of what we were doing. I was a young mother about to be alone with two babies for a while (deployed spouse). He was my companion through it all. My fellow observer. My confidante. He watched my children grow into adults. He watched me grow. I watched him. He was a smart sweet boy. So good with his human brother and sister and his dog brother and cat sister. Obsessed with bubbles!🩵 Always up for an adventure. Well traveled! Cali, the Oregon coast, Washington state, Arizona. Camping, vacations, he even got to ride on an airplane! And we loved just sitting outside together. Watching the world.
The end was hard. As most are. But damn I’m so thankful I got all that time with him! And if you’re still reading this, it’s because you understand what it means to really share your life with an animal. To see each other. And to break that shared timeline feels so painful. I miss him. But thank you. Thank you for reading about my sweet boy. He was so good. Till we meet again my Boogie Bear.

In Loving Memory

Yesterday, we said goodbye to a very special soul.

He was more than our beloved chocolate Lab. He was a source of pure joy, unconditional love, and happiness every single day. He had a spirit that was impossible not to love—full of energy, playfulness, and an enthusiasm for life that made everyone around him smile.

He was loving and gentle, with the kind of heart that made you feel safe simply being near him. He loved deeply, and he gave that love freely.

He especially loved the water. Swimming and chasing his favorite balls in the pool were among his greatest joys. Watching him race after a ball, splash through the water, and come back ready to do it all over again was one of those simple pleasures that we will treasure forever. He reminded us how wonderful it is to live completely in the moment and find happiness in the things you love.

And then there was his brother.

They came into this world together as litter mates and shared a bond that was truly special. They grew up together, played together, and were companions in the truest sense of the word. Their lives were intertwined from the very beginning, and seeing them together was a beautiful reminder of the depth of a dog's capacity for love and loyalty.

He had a way of making ordinary days extraordinary. His presence brought laughter, warmth, excitement, and comfort into our home. Somehow, just having him there made life better.

We wish we could have had more time. We wish yesterday had never come. The house feels different without him, and the silence where his joyful presence used to be is heartbreaking.

But as painful as this loss is, we are so grateful.

Grateful that he chose us.
Grateful for every game of fetch, every swim, every happy greeting, every quiet moment, and every day we were lucky enough to spend with him.
Grateful for the love he gave us so freely.
And grateful that we got to know a dog who was truly one of a kind.

We loved him immensely, and we will miss him terribly.

He will always be a part of our family, a part of our hearts, and a part of so many wonderful memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives.

Run free, sweet boy.

Find the biggest pool, chase every ball, and know that you were deeply, completely, and forever loved.

Leo completely hooked us with his big ears, long body, and unforgettable personality. Whether he was howling because he was left alone, napping the day away, or barking at everyone from the car window, he brought endless joy to our lives. Leo was a true blessing. He is deeply loved, and his memory will live on in our hearts forever.

In Loving Memory of Russell

Ten years ago, the day after we moved into our new home, an unexpected visitor showed up. Russell, our sweet pit bull mix, chose us that day, and from that moment on, he became family. We didn’t find him—he found us.

Russell was more than just a dog. He was a loyal companion, a protector, and a constant source of love. Through every season of life, he was there with a wagging tail, a kind heart, and unwavering devotion. His presence brought comfort, joy, and countless memories that we will cherish forever.

For ten wonderful years, Russell filled our home with unconditional love and reminded us every day what true loyalty looks like. He had a way of making even the hardest days a little brighter, simply by being by our side.

Though our hearts are heavy and our home feels quieter without him, we are so grateful for every moment we shared. Russell chose us all those years ago, and we will always feel honored that he did.

Tonight we said Goodbye to our Sweetheart Pennie Girl.
Dad's Buddy, Mama's Pen Pen, and Skyler's Binnie. Big sister to Corgi Hazel.

Loved eating crackers with mom, knows when the cheese was out and loved the T bones dad would bring back from Texas Roadhouse. Dad's big lap dog.

Corbin was so curious. He loved hunting the mole that lives in our backyard, loved going for walks, and loved to literally stop to smell the flowers! He was a gentle giant. He never barked at strangers, he never met someone he didn’t like. When he wanted something, he was a master at the puppy dog eyes and would use them to get what he wants from mom and dad. We got to have him in our family for a little over a year. He helped get me through my dad’s passing. He was my Mamas Boy! We love you Corbin for ever and always!
