Meet Desi 🐾
Desi is a 1½-year-old Great Pyrenees mix… although we aren’t quite sure what else he could be mixed with (if anything), because everything about him screams Pyrenees! From the big personality to the big opinions, Desi is 100% himself. ❤️

Desi is a professional alarm barker, expert ignorer, champion burper, and personal space enthusiast… who has no idea what personal space is. 😂 He will absolutely let you know when he wants to go outside, then celebrate with the best zoomies and pounces you’ve ever seen.

This big fluffy guy loves his people and believes the best place to receive affection is on top of them. If you were looking for a giant lap dog, Desi may have already applied for the position.

Desi’s story is one of resilience. He was spotted running loose with another dog who sadly was hit by a car. Trappers stepped in and worked their magic to safely bring him in. Desi spent time decompressing in a garage while learning that humans could be kind and trustworthy. From there, he moved into an amazing foster home that has continued to help him grow. He has his own special area on their back porch with air conditioning and the freedom to come and go as he chooses.

While Desi is still unsure about certain rooms in the house, he is making progress every day. He is spending more time inside, exploring, relaxing, and enjoying being with his people.

Desi loves other dogs, does great with cats, and so far has done well with farm animals — although he mostly thinks everything wants to play. He’s looking for a family who understands that trust takes time and will give him the patience, love, and freedom he needs to continue blossoming.

His perfect home would have a secure yard where he can do his famous zoomies, patrol his kingdom, and enjoy the outdoors. A home that understands a Pyrenees heart — independent, loyal, silly, and full of love.

Each of these dogs came to us with their own story, and thanks to the dedication of our fosters, volunteers, donors, adopters, and supporters, they now have the loving homes they deserve.

Charlie Brown is a total kickback dude who’s officially from the hustle and bustle of youth. At almost 9 years young, he’s completely mastered the art of being the , low maintenance companion. His favorite hobbies include melting hearts, keeping your feet warm, and just hanging out at home.

If you’re a retired couple looking for a co-pilot for your days, or someone living alone who wants the comfort of another soul in the house without the drama, Charlie’s your man.

Life hasn’t always been easy for Charlie. He was actually rescued from the euthanasia list at the county shelter. Ever since that day, he’s been on a personal mission to show his absolute . He’s so super sweet, incredibly friendly, and carries a quiet thankfulness in his soul that you can see in his eyes.

When it comes to roommates, Charlie is a bit of a traditionalist. He is very dog-friendly, but because he is such a chill guy, he prefers no toddlers or teenagers when it comes to his canine friends. Puppies and young, high energy dogs just stress his relaxed vibe. He’d be perfectly content as your one and only spoiled prince, or coexisting beautifully with another calm, senior who understands the value of a good mid-afternoon snooze.

He’s fully , crate trained, and walks like a dream on a leash. He has all the hard work out of the way, leaving nothing left for you to do except enjoy his company.

Don't tell him he’s a - he still has plenty of life, a whole lot of love, and a of devotion left to give to the right person.

🇺🇸 From rescue dogs… to purpose-driven partners. 🐾

These amazing dogs came through our rescue and are now part of a training program dedicated to supporting veterans who have served our country. These are pictures from today‘s training session. We’re so proud of them and had to share!

Some pups have already been successfully paired with veterans and are thriving in their new roles. Others are just beginning their journey — learning confidence, obedience, public manners, and the foundational skills needed to someday soon, change someone’s life.

Watching these dogs go from uncertain beginnings to meaningful futures is our passion. This is why rescue matters!!! Not every hero walks on two legs. ❤️

Huge shoutout to the outstanding trainers, rescue partners, and veterans helping us give these dogs a chance to show their real potential.

We were asked to help a family of small dogs including parents and pups. The owner passed away so they’re currently cared for by his mother who has medical issues and is unable to bring the dogs inside. We are looking for fosters to take in two pups at a time. Can you help? Please message us!!

MEET DIXIE !

There’s something really special about a puppy who finds joy in the little things. 💛

A sprinkler in the yard, a slice of watermelon on a warm afternoon, soft grass under her paws, and someone nearby to love her — that’s her perfect day.

She’s sweet in all the best ways. She’s the type that follows you around just to be close. That special pup that looks at you like you’re the best part of her world.

She loves water, sunshine, other dogs, and soaking up every bit of affection she can get. She’s still learning all the puppy basics, but she’s already mastered making people smile.

She doesn’t need much to make her happy but she deserves the BEST 💕 🍉 🐾

MEET HOSS 🐾

This 13-week-old floofy character is part water park supervisor, part adventure buddy, and part oversized stuffed animal with paws. Hoss heard “stay out of the pool” and took that as a personal challenge. 💦

One minute he’s splashing through the kiddie pool like he pays the water bill, the next he’s trotting over for kisses like he’s known you forever.

This cutie is a Husky/Malamute mix, so yes… the brains, the fluff, and the future shenanigans are all included at no extra charge. 😅
