We “rescue” children’s stuffed animals that are no longer wanted. We work with various volunteers and groups to “rehabilitate” the toys by removing hazardous elements and replacing them with soft pieces and adding at least 1 squeaker inside. Then we “rehome” these pet-friendly toys at a fraction of the price charged by pet stores, turning mad dogs into glad dogs across the nation! Best of all, we

spread the GLADness by donating 100% of the profits to Glad Dogs Foundation which funds initiatives to stem pet overpopulation, provide food and medical care to people who can’t afford these basics for their dogs, and support other innovative programs.

A great story about a community rallying to find a lost dog!

When a hiker fell from a 180-foot waterfall in wild New Zealand bush, rescuers were forced to evacuate the badly hurt woman without her dog, which couldn't be found.

After strangers raised thousands of dollars for a search, border collie Molly was flown to safety by a helicopter pilot who was determined to reunite pet and owner.

Here in the Philadelphia area, the deep freeze continues. And it's going to remain COLD COLD COLD for the week ahead. If your dogs are like mine, they don't want to go outside. And they are getting a little bored.

Here's a great option from to keep them occupied, stimulated, and engaged. If you're worried about feeding too many treats, use this as a way to feed them their meals.

Gladys, the trusty Glad Dogs van, went on a road trip yesterday to pick up stuffed animal donations in Newtown, PA and Pennington and Clinton, NJ.

Sending special thanks to those who collected everything gathered: Newtown Veterinary Hospital, LLC, Pennington Veterinary Care Center, and CB Pet Market. We are all so grateful for your support. We couldn't do what we do without you!

We've done it again! Thanks to your support, we have reached more animal shelters, rescue groups, and animal advocates across the nation than we did last year.

This year, we shipped 278 packages of toys, supplies, and essentials to non-profit organizations that requested our help -- allowing us to turn over 6000 SAD dogs and cats into GLAD dogs and cats!

With 162 requests currently on our wait list (which grows daily), we hope to do even more in 2026. If now is a good time for you, know that 100% of your donation will help with the high cost of shipping.
