🌈🌈🌈 RAINBOW PAW UPDATE - GRACIE 🌈🌈🌈

Gracie caught us by surprise 🙁. Today our hearts are broken; this amazing little girl has left us. Such a special little one, Gracie will be so missed. Sadly, as is always so true, forever was just out of reach for this precious girl. As she crosses we hope she we once again run and feel the wind through her ears. You will be so missed little one; fly free.

Oh Gracie, our hearts are breaking today and the tears are falling. As is tradition in rescue, DRBC will darken it's page today in memory of Gracie and the phenomenal gifts of love she brought. Godspeed Gracie; know you went with so much love.

💔💔💔 RED PAW ALERT - HW STRIKES 💔💔💔
Hey Gang, we all live in the world and if you have been watching on social media and the news you know the economy has made things difficult all around. One of the hardest hit areas is non-profits supporting animal rescue. Just last week we watched as three [3] rescues in our region closed their doors for good. Let's face facts, it is a difficult task to do what we do and an expensive one as well. DRBC does not want to be in that group.

You may never have thought about what it costs to run this rescue as we usually only ask for help with dogs that need emergent medical care, but what about the rest? Our monthly budget to support all in our care ranges from $10-12K per month. Staggering, right? Now those numbers are climbing and we desperately need your support.

☔🚨☔ PORT IN A STORM PLEA ☔🚨☔
Hey Gang, we are in crisis mode on our foster and sanctuary [GrandPaws] homes. We need approximately 20 new spaces. It is a lot. We do not want to say no to dogs that face euthanasia or a trip to a kill shelter and the economy is forcing more dogs than usual through the doors.

Bottom line: We need caring folks to support this crisis.
