We had a busy weekend. The team stayed with Chewy (one of the cutest pups), I visited Charlie & Frank and their relative Penny, and also had the girls (Ellie & Zoe) stay with me.

An estimated 300 to 350 highly trained dogs were deployed to Ground Zero and the Pentagon after the September 11 attacks, marking the largest deployment of search-and-rescue canines in U.S. history.

Working exhausting 12-hour shifts, these canines navigated smoldering rubble, twisted steel, and dangerous dust to search for signs of life.

These dogs became a vital source of comfort, offering a brief moment of peace and a reminder of unconditional love to heartbroken first responders.

Though they have all since passed away, their legacy of loyalty and resilience lives on forever. 🇺🇸

Say hello to Max & Sadie 🫶They didn't want to come out from under the bed, but they enjoyed us spending time with them.
