We have a diagnosis! Margot tested positive for Lymes disease. Obviously, I would prefer her to NOT have this, but it’s better than something worse. She seems to be doing better today than yesterday. She is more alert and is willing to walk on her own. Meds have been started . Thank you to everyone for reaching out and your well wishes ! Margot and I appreciate you all 💕

Margot is showing no Improvement. She is now limping on her left front leg . So we are going back to the vet tomorrow for a Lymes test….

Current situation as she waits for her chicken and rice

Update on Margot.
Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. They helped 💕. Yesterday she presented with vomiting and diarrhea. Around dinner time , she was shivering so I warmed a blanket and covered her up on the couch and she basically just slept. This morning I woke up around seven and Margot is usually the one that starts barking to wake me up around 7:20 or 7:30. When that didn’t happen I got out of bed and went downstairs to check on her. She looked a little uncomfortable sitting in her bed, but didn’t bark. I opened all the crates for everybody and let them out and Margot remained in her crate. So that was another red flag for me so we went to the vet. They did bloodwork that was all fine. They did an x-ray to rule out an obstruction because that’s what I was starting to suspect. But she was clear with that also . We got sent home with some Cerenia for her nausea. She is very painful so I’m getting ready to make her some rice and I have some chicken here so as soon as I feed myself! And make the rice, I will feed her. I will keep you guys posted. Thank you so much for your responses.
