The last few weeks, caught up now Gia (teal collar) aka Rotini, Bronx (red collar) aka Linguini.. 5 weeks old now how time flies. Life has been tough and rough this year so far to say the least!! No pause, rewind or do overs!! Just gotta take it as it comes and sometimes its almost unbearable and you just want to give up!! And then life brings the miracles that are absolutely amazing, loveable and just outright wonderful these two pups that Boba and Hudson had have helped to have something to focus on and move forward with life and reason for pushing the darkness aside and seeing the light!!! Thank you Lord!! For the blessings you bestow upon my family and the hope you always bring to mind!!! Even when life is not easily understood!! 🙏🥹🥰🐾❤️

Finally here they are!! The two twinsies are just over 4 weeks now. So sorry it took a bit gor me to post as personal life has been so stressful, busy, and exhausting!!! The litter theme was pasta 🍝, one girl (teal) we called Rotini is now known as Gia and one boy (red) we called Linguini is now known as Bronx, we are so proud and excited that both have amazing hooman families waiting to take them home around the end of this month!!! These babies are going to be such great additions to their new families!! These were from last weekend photos and will have their next photo shoot tomorrow!!

Finally here they are at just 13 days old!!! Meet Bobas cubs!! Both blk/cream. They were born so tiny and fragile. Momma had to have an emergency c-section and although all pups may not have made it, the FACT that momma and her 2 babies are happy a d thriving. My husband and I nurtured these two for several days with supplemental feeding and guiding them to be strong enough to suckle mommas teets…. And the struggle, emotional, mental and physical hard work 😓 paid off! Ty to my husband Jacob Clowser who held it down and relentlessly for several nights made sure these two got the nutrition and love that they needed to successfully thrive! I love you!! 😘❤️💕 🐾🐾🥰🥹

Its been extremely difficult, emotionally, mentally and exhausting this litter. I don’t want to go into details but we’re likely not moving forward on any planned litters in the near and extended future!

It's official, I can feel the baby bump growing!!! Our beautiful and lovely Boba and dashing Hudson are expecting a litter at the end of this month to the early days of April 🐾❤️ we are ecstatic to say the least!!!

We love our little ones from the moment they are born they become part of our family, our everyday life and we bond with them unconditionally knowing how special it is to play a part in their very first breath, the very first taste of momma’s milk, the first crawl to the first steps and their first mashed meal. It’s not everyone that gets to partake in these precious special moments and we feel chosen from the good Lord to have this privilege. We love them even after they leave us to start other new beginnings and lives with the families they join!!! We do this because it’s a passion a love a commitment and are truly blessed. Thank you to Derek and Jenna and your daughter for choosing Desert Sunset Dachshunds!!! ***AKC*** make sure you register your AKC dogs, it’s important and helps create lineage. We have had some pups in the past and they’ve gone unregistered still years later, IDK 🤷🏻‍♀️ why but we now take care of the registration of our pups to ensure that they are registered and transferred to the new owners and it doesn’t go left undone!
