Love hearing with children observe and think about things they see in the story. This little one was talking about her little dog, which is a 10 week old, golden retriever puppy, Peaches and Peaches snuggles in her crate in the morning.

So thankful to our friends who bought 10 copies of my book. While visiting I was able to sign copies and give them to a few of the kids.
This family recently got a puppy - now 10 weeks old - and it was nice to connect parts of the story to real life situations with their puppy. The littlest girl was talking about their puppy, Peaches, and how the she snuggles in her crate each morning with the door open. We also connected that all the dogs… the big ones shown in the video - were sleeping after exercising by swimming in the lake. , , , , Marcia Santaga

After reading, Let Dogs be Dogs - The Art of Living with Your Dog cover-to-cover and seeing similarities throughout the book to Finding My Forever Family - Diary of a Rescue Dog, it was a must for my reference section.

In the book written by Brother Christopher and Mark Goldberg they describe anecdotal situations with owners and how to better help the dog to overcome behavioral issues. If you’re an adult and you’re looking for a good guide to help you better understand your dog you should check it out.

This little boy came up to me at the end of my reading and asked if I would videotape him reading what he wrote. Such a sweetheart! Hands down I loved this one the best! It was so nice to be invited to schools this week to read my book. My voice has still not recovered, but worth it! It is nice to know that 75 students bought copies to share with their families. I love knowing that the message that I am sharing to help rescue dogs in the book will get to so many people. The kids did wonderful with their follow up writing and drawing activity. It’s always fun to hear what their favorite part was, but sometimes surprising! , , Petaluma City Schools

I have to say, that the term “rescue dog” is confusing. I can see why children think what they do, but as a trainer who gets frequent calls from people asking for help with their new rescue dog I definitely have a different definition! ,
