🐾 A little 2026 update from Wags & Whiskers Pet Sitting! 🐾
First, I owe everyone an apology for not posting our monthly availability calendars this year. The truth is, I simply haven't had the chance! Thanks to so many amazing returning clients who reached out as early as January to reserve their dates, our calendar filled up much faster than expected.
As I looked back through the year, I realized just how busy (and rewarding!) it's been.
We kicked off the new year fostering two sweet sisters through AWSOM Animal Shelter while also battling the flu over New Year's. Although saying goodbye was bittersweet, both girls found a loving forever home just days after returning to the shelter—a perfect ending to their story. ❤️
February brought colder weather and time spent with one of our very first pet sitting clients, Chesca.
March was filled with visits with Murphy, celebrating our honeymoon, and then jumping right back into pet sitting with Chesca. We also celebrated one of my closest friends at her baby shower in the beautiful Poconos.
April introduced us to three wonderful new feline friends—Molly, Milo, and Maverick. They quickly kept us on our toes with their impressive hiding spots and sweet personalities.
In May, we visited Chesca again and celebrated the arrival of another dear friend's first baby.
June was full of celebrations and wagging tails! We traveled to Atlanta to celebrate close friends getting married before welcoming Hopper into our home. Hopper is one of the calmest pups we've cared for, gets along wonderfully with our cats, and has a funny habit of stealing socks. We also spent about 10 days with Scout and Charlotte enjoying plenty of outdoor playtime before wrapping up the month with Murphy for another fun-filled weekend of walks, cuddles, and naps.
July is keeping the momentum going! We have time planned with Juniper and Poppy, two adorable kitties, and Hopper will be back with us for another 10-day stay. While I'm away, my husband will be giving Hopper plenty of love and attention.
August 1st we start a week long stay with Murphy and his pal, Pedro! Photos to come…
Throughout the year we've also continued regular walks with Paisley, one of our local favorites. Once she gets to know you, she's one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet.
Somehow I blinked...and we're already more than halfway through the year! 🥹
And speaking of what's ahead... I have some exciting news coming to Wags & Whiskers over the next 4–6 weeks! 👀🐾 I can't share too much just yet, but it's something I've been looking forward to and I can't wait to tell you all about it. Be sure to keep an eye on the page because I'll be sharing more very soon! ❤️
To every client who has trusted us with your pets—whether you've booked us once or continue to invite us back year after year—thank you. Your trust means the world to us, and we love being part of your pets' lives.
📅 Looking ahead: We are currently fairly booked over the next three months, but we still have some availability remaining in November and December. If you're planning a holiday getaway or winter trip, send us a message to check availability before those dates fill up!
We can't wait to see what the rest of 2026 has in store. 🦮🐈✨
