Your dog isn’t like every other dog. They have their own personality, their own comforts, and their own way of experiencing the world. We believe great care starts with recognizing that, not expecting them to fit into someone else’s routine.

We know what it means to trust someone else with a dog who’s part of your family. That’s a responsibility we never take lightly. Every decision we make starts with one question: What’s truly best for the dog?

Leaving your dog behind isn’t always easy. You wonder if they’ll be comfortable, if they’ll feel safe, and if someone will notice the little things that make them who they are. We understand that trust is earned, and we take that responsibility seriously.

A wagging tail is wonderful, but happiness means more than constant excitement. It means feeling safe, being understood, and having the freedom to enjoy play without being overwhelmed. That’s why we’re intentional about every group and every interaction.

Behind every behavior is a dog trying to navigate the world the best way they know how. We believe meaningful progress begins with understanding, patience, and giving both dogs and their people the tools to succeed together.

For some dogs, grooming is easy. For others, it takes trust, patience, and a little extra reassurance. We make room for those differences with private, one-on-one care that respects each dog’s comfort and pace.

At the end of the day, it’s not just about boarding, daycare, training, or grooming. It’s about knowing the people caring for your dog will make decisions with their safety, happiness, and well-being at heart. That’s the kind of place we set out to build at Katz Dogs K9.

Eric spends his days making sure your dogs are happy, safe and cared for. Today, we’re taking a little time to celebrate him.

If you know Eric, you know how much dogs mean to him. And judging by how most of your dogs react when they see him, the feeling is pretty mutual.

His love for dogs is what started Katz in the first place, and it’s still at the heart of everything he does. He knows their personalities, their quirks and all the little things that make them who they are.

So today, we’re celebrating the guy who usually prefers to keep the attention on the dogs.

Happy birthday, Eric.

Join us in wishing him the greatest birthday yet💙

We ask you to trust us with your dog. We take that responsibility seriously.

That’s why learning never stops at Katz Dogs K9.

Recently, members of our training team traveled to Florida for an intensive two day workshop with world renowned dog trainer Ivan Balabanov, diving into some of the most challenging cases trainers encounter.

The workshop explored canine OCD, problem solving, building thoughtful training plans, troubleshooting difficult behaviors, and understanding how to work with the individual dog in front of you.

For Eric, investing in opportunities like this is simple: if we’re going to ask our community to trust us with their dogs, we owe it to them to keep getting better.

We want our trainers learning from some of the best minds in the industry, challenging their thinking, sharpening their skills, and then bringing that knowledge right back home to the dogs and families we work with every day.

We’re proud to have a team that never wants to stop learning.

Because better trainers mean better outcomes for dogs. And that’s what this is all about. 🐾

National Dog Day? Around here, that’s basically every day.

We get to spend our days with dogs being dogs. Running wild, making best friends, getting dirty, causing a little chaos and having an absolute blast.

And somehow, we get to call this work.

We’re here because we love dogs. Period. And we’re pretty damn grateful you trust us with yours.

Happy National Dog Day to the crew that makes Katz the best place to show up every day.
