Why Having A Fenced Yard Is Important!
If you ask any of my puppy owners, I tend to ask future owners a lot of questions. I want the very best for my puppies and I want everyone happy. I want puppies in happy forever homes. The way I find them is to ask questions.
Recently, several people who wanted a puppy and were sounding like a good fit wound up NOT having a fenced yard. I have placed pups with people with no yards in the past but it has wound up being more negative than positive.
Your puppy is going to be BIG. 50-100 pounds. Your puppy is also mostly Standard Poodle, which means they have lots of energy. This means they need a safe space to get their zoomies out, to go potty, and to be able to play with you off leash.
Having this safe area means...your puppies are SAFE! And you and your puppy will be happier because your pup will be more calm and less destructive in the house.
But, you say to me, I can keep an eye on my pup...my pup doesn't wander away from me...we live in the country...etc.
What I have seen happen to pups without fenced yards...
*They have run away.
*They have run into traffic.
*They have been attacked by other dogs.
*they go visit the neighbors whether the neighbors want them to or not.
*They get hurt by a multitude of other reasons.
In several of the above instances, they have been gone for days, never seen again, or killed!!
*Or they simply turn into aggressive destructive problem pups that eventually get rehomed.
The safety and happiness of your Saint Berdoodle puppy is YOUR responsibility. And mine by by doing my best to make sure you as a future owner are prepared and have everything ready. A Fenced yard is one of these things.
