“Con artist” is a wild thing to call someone whose clients are out here living better lives because of the work we put in together.

I’ve spent the last 6+ years building this business and years before that learning everything I could about dog behavior, nutrition, structure, training, and handling. And honestly, I should be a better trainer today than I was when I started. That’s the responsibility that comes with this profession.

This industry is constantly evolving. Good trainers keep learning. Good trainers stay open to growth. Good trainers focus on ex*****on, consistency, and results that actually improve the dog and owner’s daily life.

So when someone throws around words like “con artist” while ignoring the real outcomes my clients have achieved, it says more about them than it does about me.

I’ve helped service dog teams feel more confident moving through everyday life with a dog they can actually rely on when it matters most. I’ve also helped pet dog owners work through stressful behaviors, rebuild structure in the home, and finally enjoy living with their dogs again.

That’s not a scam

And let’s be honest. There ARE trainers out there doing real damage. Dogs sitting in filthy kennels. No care. No standards. No accountability.

So before throwing labels around, people should really evaluate who they trust with their dogs.

At the end of the day, results speak louder than comments ever will.

Tagged are some of my incredible clients over the years! If you want to ask them about their experiences, feel free they would be happy to chat! 🩷🫶🏼

Big update.

Hands and Paws is relocating.

The plan is to move at the end of 2026 going into winter 2027.

Before that happens, we have about 3–4 more rounds of board and trains left here. After that, we’re out.

We’re already booking into August and September, so if you’ve been thinking about working with us, now is the time to lock in your spot.

We’re also starting to make trips down to South Florida.
Miami. Orlando. Tampa.

If you’re in Central or South Florida and want to work with us, send a message and we’ll plan something out.

What we have coming up:
• 2 co-raising service dog programs starting June / July
• 6 week board and train (on and off leash, mild behavior issues)
• 8 week board and train (behavior modification)

This next chapter is about growth.
More space. More structure. More opportunity’s to do things even better.

😏maybe a facility is coming. We’ll see.😁

If you want in before the move, don’t wait.

Message us.

Can’t wait to share this Journey with you all! 🫶🏼

Hiring: Kennel Tech / Assistant Dog Trainer

This is not a “play with dogs all day” job.

At Hands and Paws, how you show up matters.
With the dogs. With the team. In your life.

We are looking for someone who:
• Takes action without being told
• Handles responsibility without excuses
• Shows up on time and stays consistent
• Takes feedback and actually applies it
• Wants to build real skill, not just be around dogs

What this role really looks like:
• Cleaning, kennel care, daily routines
• Feeding and maintaining structure for every dog
• Assisting training sessions
• Learning timing, handling, and obedience fundamentals

We don’t cut corners.
We don’t rush dogs for ego.
We don’t “wing it.”

We train with clarity.
We work with purpose.
We follow through.

What we expect:
• Respect for every dog in your care
• Clear, honest communication
• Attention to detail in everything you do
• Ownership of your role, every day

Starting at $15/hr (minimum)
Raises based on performance
Bonuses based on ex*****on

Opportunities:
• Continuing education
• Out of state seminars
• Travel + work trips
• Mentorship that actually builds skill

Bonus Opportunity:
We will be relocating to Tampa around Winter 2026/2027.
If you’re open to growing with us and relocating, that’s a major plus.

This comes down to consistency.
Ex*****on matters here.

If you want easy, this isn’t it.
If you want to grow, it is.

DM us “WORK” to apply.
