TomCat Farm and Rescue We are a small farm dedicated to giving back to horses and donkeys that need a good home.

First of all we want to thank everyone for following us and joining our journey as we try to accomplish many things. As discussed in our first post, we are a small business and farm.

1. When we moved to our current property, we had a landscaping company then we got into small animals mainly goats. We still run the landscaping company, both my wife and I work full time to support this adventure. This page will cover anything from stuff going on at the farm to animals we have taken in and their stories.

2. We do have a rescue that helps horses and donkeys that are living in horrible situations. We take them in, bring them back to health and once they are fully back to health we find them a good forever home. Any rehoming fees we charge will be used to help the next animals.

3. With that being said this page is not just about our rescue. This page is for positivity and upbuilding, hopefully encouraging others to take in rescues as well. We hope to build a community of like-minded people that are trying to homestead and live more on the natural side.

4. Here is what this page is not, we are not here to talk about politics. We don't care about your pushy opinions. Opinions are like bu****les, everyone has one, they all stink, and we don't want to see any of them.

5. Got something positive to add? Pm us or head down to the comments and be positive and kind. If you just want to argue or call people names find a different page or maybe consider why you feel the need to be a keyboard warrior and act like such a sinical butthead.

6. See something you don't like or agree with? Maybe something that you think we need to work on? Send us a PM and maybe we can explain why we do something a certain way or maybe you can explain why your way might be better.

7. Want to make a change in the world? Be helpful in a kind way, talk to people like they are another human being not like they are trash or lesser than you because you don't agree with them. No one is right 100% of the time, we have something to learn from everyone!

Thanks for joining our Ted Talk, make the world a better place, and don't be a bu****le!

FYI the paragraphs are numbered for a reason. I know some hardheaded dingdong is going to not read this and head straight for the comment section and tell us how horrible of people we are, maybe even try to argue about things. If that happens, we are not going to repeat ourselves we will just simply comment which paragraph they need to read.

Last year, my wife and I moved to the country with access to a few acres. We quickly fell in love with farm animals but just as quickly realized many of them are treated horribly. We rescued our first horse from a local auction house; she was severely underweight, had many cuts, and was covered in mites. After the first week on our farm, we had the cuts healed and the mites gone. She showed us a love greater than we had ever seen before, as if she was telling us no one had ever given her this kind of treatment before. To us, this was amazing, and we set out to rescue as many as we could. Every horse, donkey, and dog that we rescued all showed that same behavior—scared at first but quick to warm up and become our best friends.

All of this to say, we are addicted to helping these animals that have had horrible stories. We love watching them receive our love and care, then come back to life! We want to continue this effort with your help. With your help, we can help more animals come back to life and get the care they deserve. After they get back to full health, we can find them good homes where they can continue to get the treatment they deserve, and we can continue helping the ones needing help.
