Karmic Kennel Puppy Waitlist

We are now accepting names for the wait list for our upcoming Mountain Cur litter, and interest has been strong from the beginning.

This breeding represents a carefully considered combination of quality hunting and show dogs, selected for the traits we believe are important to the Mountain Cur breed and to the future of our program. We are excited about the potential this cross offers in hunting ability, structure, health, conformation, temperament, intelligence, and overall working quality.
Our goal is not simply to produce puppies.

Our goal is to produce quality Mountain Curs with purpose, while maintaining the traits, ability, and character that make the breed exceptional and follows our breed standard.

As the puppies develop, each one will be evaluated individually for structure, temperament, natural ability, drive, development, and overall suitability.

Because of this evaluation process, puppies will not necessarily be placed strictly in the order in which names are added to the wait list.
We believe each puppy deserves the opportunity to be matched with the home and program where it has the greatest potential to thrive.

Joining the wait list does not guarantee a puppy from this particular litter.
However, remaining on the list will keep you in consideration for future breedings if a puppy from this litter is not the appropriate match for your goals.

Whether you are looking for a serious hunting prospect, a quality show prospect, a future breeding prospect, or a well-bred companion, we want to understand what you are looking for and make thoughtful placements based on the individual puppy.

We are extremely excited about this breeding and what these genetics may produce.
The quality behind a litter matters, and we are putting considerable thought into what we are bringing forward.

If you are interested in being considered for this litter or future breedings, Please fill out our Waitlist form and tell us what you are looking for in your next Mountain Cur.

Quality breeding. Purposeful selection. Thoughtful placement.
This is the foundation of our program.

Banshee had a fun outing, she done so well nothing bothered her. We will be seeing what she likes more bite sports or working as a service dog. As she has already naturally been picking up on a few of my disabilities.

Not many like us for everything we do with our puppies and dogs before they are placed in a new home.
We do
ENS (early neurological stimulation)
Nail trims
Vet visits
Grooming (bath, brushing ect)
Leash training (if a show prospect show training)
Bench training
Started on scent and drags
Potty training (this helps keep a dog outside clean as well and keeps a cleaner kennel)
Crate training
Car rides
Gun and firework sounds and exposure
…..
With our adults we health test and prove in the show ring and or hunting in the woods.
Health testing is not known in the world of Mountain Curs if people could just start with Genetic testing that’s a start.
We genetic test, OFAs (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) hips and elbows.

If we don’t have sound dogs, producing sound pups we will lose our breed.
Our breed is already dying, let’s not lose them forever.
