We know we’ve been a little quiet lately… but behind the scenes, the chaos never stops here at Rhode Island Ferret Sanctuary. Between late-night feedings, cleaning, vet visits, rescues, and caring for all these sweet faces, every single day is nonstop.

These babies depend on us for everything — food, bedding, medical care, toys, clean water, and a safe place to sleep. We are completely donation-funded, and right now we could really use the community’s help to keep going. Even small donations truly make a difference when you’re caring for this many animals 24/7 with no days off.

We need your help for one of our babies 💔

About a month ago, one of our ferrets was adopted and is currently in a loving home. Unfortunately, he now needs unexpected veterinary care, and the cost is around $400.

As a rescue, we want to continue supporting our animals even after adoption, and we’re stepping in to help raise funds so he can get the care he needs without disruption to his home.

We are asking for donations to help cover his vet bill. Every dollar goes directly toward his treatment.

If we are unable to raise enough, he may need to return to the rescue so we can ensure he receives proper care—but our goal is to keep him with his family.

Looking for something fun, different, and interactive to do? Come spend time with our adorable rescue ferrets! 💕

We’re hosting hands-on play sessions where you can:
✨ Play and interact with the ferrets
✨ Give them treats
✨ Learn about their care, personalities, and rescue stories
✨ Ask any questions about owning or adopting a ferret

Session Options:
• ⏱️ 30 Minutes – $40
• ⏱️ 1 Hour – $75

Today, we took in another little soul… 💔

This sweet boy was dumped at a dog grooming shop in Greenville, Rhode Island… left behind with no explanation. Thankfully, a kind worker named Jules refused to ignore him and reached out to us for help.

Because of her, he’s safe tonight.

But he’s still confused, still scared… still looking around like he’s waiting for someone to come back for him and it breaks our hearts every time.

He deserves so much more than this.

Right now, he needs a full vet check, proper nutrition, fresh bedding, and time to decompress and feel safe again. Like so many others, his journey with us is just beginning but we can’t do it alone.
