💔 The Highs and Lows of Kitten Rescue 💔

This week we've been celebrating Riot's progress. Watching him grow stronger, play with his siblings, and act like a kitten again has filled our hearts with hope.

But rescue isn't always filled with victories.

Recently, another kitten, Amelia, came into our care and was diagnosed with Pectus Excavatum, a condition where the chest wall develops abnormally and can compress the heart and lungs.

While surgery is sometimes possible, it is not always the right choice. In some cases, the risks are high, the outcome is uncertain, and the kindest thing we can do is focus on comfort and quality of life.

These are the moments that are hardest in rescue.

We celebrate the wins. We cry over the losses. We love them all the same.

Right now, we're taking things one day at a time with this little one. Maybe she'll surprise us. Kittens are known for doing that. 🧡

For now, she'll be surrounded by soft blankets, full bellies, gentle hands, and all the love we can give her.

Because every kitten deserves to be loved—whether they are with us for years or only for a short time.

🚨 URGENT: Kitten Fosters Needed NOW 🚨

Our phones are ringing nonstop with pleas for help — especially for tiny bottle baby kittens who need around-the-clock care and love. Right now, 9 out of every 10 calls we receive are from people desperately trying to find help for vulnerable kittens in our community.

The heartbreaking truth is… we are being forced to say “no” far too often because we simply do not have enough foster homes available. 💔

Kitten season is here, and we need YOU.

Summer is the perfect time for families, retirees, work-from-home individuals, or anyone with a little extra love to give to step up and make a lifesaving difference. Kids getting out of school? Fostering kittens can be an amazing summer family activity that teaches compassion, responsibility, and kindness while literally saving lives. 🐾☀️

We especially need:
🍼 Bottle baby fosters
🐱 Foster homes for moms with kittens
🏠 Temporary homes for young kittens until adoption

You provide the love and care — we help with medical support and guidance along the way.

Without more foster homes, many kittens in our area will have nowhere to go.

He is doing so good!

🧡 Little Riot Update 🧡

Sweet Riot is growing and getting stronger every single day. 🐾

Watching this tiny boy play, cuddle with his siblings, and act more and more like a normal kitten has been such an incredible journey after everything he has been through. 💛

There’s still healing ahead, but Riot continues to prove just how strong and resilient he truly is.

We are so thankful for everyone who has donated, shared, prayed, and followed his story. Because of you, this little fighter got the chance he deserved.

🙏 We are still accepting donations to help with Riot’s ongoing care and the many other sick kittens currently in rescue needing veterinary treatment and medications.
