🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from SkyView Thermal Drone Services! 🎆

We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Independence Day with family and friends.

As you celebrate tonight, please remember that fireworks can be extremely stressful for pets. If possible, keep your dogs and cats safely indoors in a secure, quiet area. Even well-trained pets can become frightened, panic, and run away because of the loud noises.

A few simple precautions can help:
🐾 Keep pets inside before the fireworks begin.
🐾 Make sure they have ID tags or a microchip with current information.
🐾 Close doors, windows, and gates to prevent accidental escapes.
🐾 Comfort them with a calm, quiet environment.

While searching for Jackson for the second time, we came across something we definitely weren't expecting.

Two coyotes had just finished chasing a deer and quickly turned their attention to a black bear. We were pretty shocked watching them circle the bear and get as close as they did. Thankfully, they seemed smart enough not to push their luck too far.

This video is a great example of just how bold and ruthless coyotes can be when they're working together. Nature is full of surprises, and this was one of those moments that reminded us just how wild the outdoors can be.

🐾 Winston is HOME 🐾
Late Thursday night Winston, a Retriever/Beagle mix, got away from his owners while still carrying his leash. Early the next morning his owners reached out to us for help bringing him home safely.
Winston was last seen excitedly running about a quarter mile through the woods near a neighbor’s house, so that’s where we focused our search. After running our first drone battery, the owners received a call from a nearby neighbor saying they had just seen Winston less than 500 feet through the woods in the opposite direction of where he was seen.
We quickly turned the drone around and began searching the new area and sure enough, there he was! His leash had broken, but his harness was still on him. We immediately dropped a pinpoint location of where he was last spotted before he disappeared into some dense woods.
Just a few minutes later, the owners were able to get their hands on Winston and safely bring him back home where he belongs. 🏡❤️
Another happy ending and another family reunited. Thank you to everyone who helped keep an eye out for Winston!

🦮UPDATE HOME SAFE🦮
We received word yesterday that Gilli is finally back home safe. The owner found him Saturday morning around 11:00 AM in his yard after being missing for 4 days.
Surprisingly, he really wasn’t that hungry. From our experience, most dogs usually want to gorge themselves on food after being gone that long. That leads us to believe he either found a food source or may have been staying near someone’s home during that time. Unfortunately, we may never know for sure.
The important thing is Gilli is safe and back where he belongs. 🐾

Wonderful news, Copper is finally home after his 4 hour adventure! We found him making his way back home through a cutover. Thank yall to everyone that kept an eye out and helped along the way!
