Gladiator is a handsome 5-year-old boy weighing around 61 pounds who came to us as a stray. Now, he’s hoping to find a loving family to call his own! 💗

What we do know about Gladiator is that he seems to be housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, and gets along well with other dogs. 🥰 We’re still learning how he does with kids and cats, so we would recommend a meet and greet with any kids in the home and he can be cat tested on request!

Gladiator is a very people-oriented boy who loves staying close to his person. He seems happiest simply being near someone he trusts, and we think he would thrive in a home where he can enjoy plenty of companionship, love, and reassurance. ❤️

For just a $200 adoption fee, Gladiator could be your new best friend! He’s ready for a fresh start and a chance to experience the love, comfort, and security every dog deserves. Could you be the one he’s been waiting for? 🏡🐶

Chicken Nugget is a handsome Labrador Retriever weighing 55 pounds, and he’s hoping to find a loving family to call his own! 🏡 This sweet boy is ready for his chance at a forever home where he can be loved, spoiled, and included in all the fun that life has to offer.

Labrador Retrievers are one of the most beloved dog breeds for a reason! They’re known for their friendly personalities, loyalty, intelligence, and affectionate nature. Labs often love being around people and thrive when they get to be part of the family. Whether it’s going for walks, playing fetch in the backyard, exploring the outdoors, or simply relaxing with their favorite humans, Labs are wonderful companions who bring so much love and joy into a home. 🐶❤️

They are also intelligent dogs who tend to enjoy learning new things and spending time with their people. With regular exercise, positive training, and plenty of love, they can make amazing companions for families looking for a best friend who will be by their side through all of life’s adventures!

Chicken Nugget is good with other dogs, making him a great candidate for a home looking to add another furry friend to the family! Every dog has their own unique personality, and we can’t wait for Chicken Nugget to find the people who will give him the love, patience, and happy life he deserves. 🐾

Could Chicken Nugget be the missing piece your family has been looking for? His adoption fee is $200. Come meet this handsome boy and see if he’s the perfect match for you! 💛

Ripley is a 1 year and 11 month old Husky/Shepherd mix weighing 43 pounds, full of energy, personality, and potential. 💙 He’s a sweet boy who is good with kids and other dogs, but he can be unsure around new people and may need a little time and patience to feel comfortable. He has not been cat tested yet, so his compatibility with cats is still unknown.

Ripley is still working on potty training and will need continued guidance as he adjusts to home life. He’s an energetic guy who would do best with an active family that can meet his exercise and mental stimulation needs while helping him build confidence and settle into his new surroundings.

His adoption fee is $200. Ripley is looking for a patient, loving family who will give him the time he needs to warm up and help him become the amazing companion he’s meant to be. If you’re ready for an active, loyal friend, Ripley might be your perfect match! 🌟

Meet ✨✨ Todd ✨✨

Intake date of December 16th, 2025. Only thing he wants from the ghost of Halloween this year is to find his forever home and furever family. This adorable pitbull Labrador retriever mix has been waiting far too long.

✨ Absolutely loves car rides. He couldn't wait for me to open the door so he could jump in, lay down, and get out of the kennel for an hour or so

✨ Greets strangers like they've known each other their whole life and already are best friends

✨ Loves treats and will sit for treats and I mean c'mon... Look how adorable he is.

✨ Very playful and adventurous. He tried to smell every tree at legion park but unfortunately failed with our limited time. Maybe he could finish his goal with you.

✨ Very potty trained and does his best to keep his kennel clean

Black cats are the big thing this time of the year but how about a black dog instead? He'll be your best friend for life.

✨ Come meet him and talk in love with him and his furry friends at the Daviess County It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue ! See you soon!

At just 1 year and 8 months old, Memphis has already lived through more than any dog ever should. 💔 She was found in the back of a U-Haul, covered in fleas and f***s. No dog should have to endure those conditions. She deserved to be safe, clean, and cared for, but instead she was left living in filth.

It’s heartbreaking to think about what her life must have been like before she was rescued. The discomfort, the fear, and the neglect are things no animal should ever experience. Yet somehow, through it all, Memphis has held onto her gentle spirit.

Now she’s safe, but what she wants most is something we can’t give her at the shelter—a family to call her own. While we make sure she’s fed, loved, clean and cared for every day, a kennel can never replace a home. She deserves to wake up knowing she’s loved, curl up on a couch instead of a kennel bed, and spend the rest of her life surrounded by people who will cherish her. 💕

Her past does not define her, but it makes her second chance that much more meaningful. Memphis has survived the worst days of her life. Now she’s just waiting for someone to give her the best ones.

Memphis is 1 year and 8 months old, and her adoption fee is $200. If you’ve been thinking about adopting, please consider giving this sweet girl the forever home she’s waited so long to find. She deserves a future filled with love, comfort, and the happiness every dog should know. 🐶
