For an over entire year, Freida has waited for someone to choose her. 💔 She arrived at the shelter in June 2025 and, despite being a wonderful dog, has been overlooked time and time again. For the last 11 MONTHS, she has been living in a foster home, patiently waiting for her forever home. 😭

While we don’t know all the details of her past, it’s clear that it wasn’t the life she deserved. But those days are behind her now, and Freida is finally learning what it means to rest, trust, and be loved. 💗
She’s a gentle soul who gives the absolute best hugs, often resting her head on your shoulder like she’s been waiting for that moment her whole life. Sometimes, if you look closely, you’ll catch the sweetest little smile on her face—a glimpse of the peace she’s finally beginning to feel. 🌷
Freida is house trained, good with kids, and loves spending time with her people. ‼️ She currently lives in a foster home with other dogs and doesn’t mind their presence, but she can become uncomfortable when food is involved. Because of this, she would thrive as the only pet in the home where she can feel completely safe and secure. ‼️
Freida is a 10-year-old Pit Bull Terrier/Shar Pei mix who has spent far too much of her life surviving when she should have been loved. Now all she wants is a soft bed, a caring heart, and a family to call her own.
