I love a good puppy photoshoot outtake. 🥰

This was Charm at her 6 week session. How would you caption this picture? Bonus points for anyone who is clever enough to use our Spellbound theme in the caption. 😉

There is life beyond puppies happening here. Despite a tumultuous weather week, we have tried to make the best of fall break. We have attempted to camp but between the rain, humidity and heat we have mostly been hanging out at home. Thankfully we camp 20 mins from our house so that made it convenient to escape back to the AC and real showers. Turns out of all of our dogs, Falsetto makes the best camping companion other than taking up more than her fair share of the bed (see pic). 😅 Anyone else have a dog that is a serious bed hog? ❤️🐩

Random snaps from the whelping box. 📸We are still doing daily desensitization, handling and exposure as well as working on that rock solid "puppy, puppy, puppy" recall. 💪 Manding training will start soon as well which is the primer for all their training to come once they get home. I'll do an entire post on manding: what it is and why it is important. It truly is the secret potion to eager, early learners. ✨️🐩✨️

Charm is adding new things to her enchantment potion daily in order to ensure her future human falls completely under her spell from day one! ✨ Her recipe so far? A pinch of fiery redhead spirit, a heavy dose of curiosity, and a whole lot of snuggle power. As our Spellbound pups get ready to head off to their new homes, this little enchantress is still waiting to see where her cauldron will land. Send us a message if you're ready to be bewitched!

Sharing is caring! Or sharing is getting your best friend to adopt her so you can visit her on weekends. We don't judge. 😉

Big day yesterday as puppies got their first raw chicken meal, vaccine and worming day too. Whew it was a busy one. Momma Noel was happy to clean up the leftovers. Starting feeding the puppies is a hallmark time of transition and training here. This is also the beginning of our teaching the "puppy, puppy, puppy" recall that all our families love. This is so ingrained in puppies when they leave that they can hear my voice replayed from a device and will still come running! A rock solid recall is important for so many reasons and we set our puppies up from the start to drop whatever they are doing to come when they hear it. This could literally save their lives in the event of an emergency. Seemingly small steps, with long lasting effects. That's what we are all about over here. We can't promise you the perfect puppy but we will always do our best to set them (and you) up for success! 💜🐩
