🤩I have the best clients! 🩷
Storybrooke Pet Grooming Voted #1 Dog Groomer in Allegan County 2026 🥇🐶

When I received the phone call a few weeks ago, I was truly surprised. I know I have so many great clients that keep me very busy, but I never expected that my little one groomer salon would be awarded this honor.

I am truly grateful for all of my amazing clients. Thank you for trusting me to care for your furry family members. 🐾

A few things I have learned after years of grooming dogs through Michigan summers.

A clean, well-maintained coat genuinely helps dogs regulate temperature better. Matted or overly dirty coats trap heat and can make a hot day a lot more miserable for your dog.

Beyond grooming, a few things that actually make a difference: access to shade at all times, fresh cool water (add ice if it is really hot), avoid pavement walks during peak heat hours, and never leave your dog in a parked car even for a few minutes.

Your dog cannot tell you when they are too hot. Watch for heavy panting, drooling, and slowing down on walks. Those are the signals to get them somewhere cool.

Stay safe out there this summer.

There is something extra satisfying about a summer groom. Lighter coat, cleaner skin, happy pup. It is a good feeling walking out of here.

Thank you to all our regulars for keeping your appointments. These transformations never get old for us.

We are fully booked and not taking on new clients right now. The waitlist is in our bio if you want to get on our radar.

May is the time to think about June and July.

Every year around this time I start getting messages from clients who want summer appointments and the schedule is already packed. I genuinely hate turning people away or making them wait.

If you are a current client and you are not already on a recurring schedule, now is a good time to think about locking in your summer dates. Things fill up fast once the weather turns.

Not on the books yet? We are not taking new clients right now, but you can join the waitlist through the link in our bio and we will reach out when something opens up.
