They say variety is the spice of life so maybe that’s true in the construction/handyman world too. This week’s projects included a tub door install, deck footings dug and poured, and De Scoop in Pella has new paper towel and soap dispensers. Had another Saturday project you’ll see early next week when it is fully completed. The heat is challenging but I’m still hustling as much as I can.

Wrapped up my career job this week and officially retired on Thursday. Went fishing with my boys and spent some time with Kelly Mitchell. Ready to hit the ground running Monday morning on a 10’ x 20’ deck demo and rebuild.

I’m counting on a 5 star review from this happy customer. Dryer is fixed a day earlier than expected and she is thrilled! Huge thanks to Southern Live Oaks Amazon storefront and Pella USPS for super quick shipping. I was able to intercept package at post office this morning when they opened and install it by 10:00 am.

On today's episode of what's Jim refurbishing, fixing, or building, we see a 24 yr old Kenmore dryer needing a new control board. Dryer disassembled, parts ordered, and we wait patiently for the Saturday control board delivery. Client was thrilled when the "nonstop beeping" finally stopped.
