Finally today was the day we got to Cornell. To update everyone on Wheezy, she was quoted about $8000 worth of scans before then could tell us anymore than what our regular vet told us. And if she’s able for surgery (BIG MAYBE) it would be around $10000-$15000 and none of the surgeries they offer is a guarantee fix to any of her issues… So while we think about our options and everything available (and affordable to a 22 year old) I plan on going thru with PT for her so she doesn’t close range of motion in her back end.
Vets say she’s a happy, lively puppy and everyone there loved her. She’s in no pain thankfully. I’m glad we were able to go and get some knowledge about her situation!
