Fall session for our advanced riders has been all about trying out riding different horses from their usual, as our horse team has been adding a number of new 4-legged partners with different personalities and styles to learn from! The horses also did great adjusting to the introduction of a new strange (and noisy!) piece of equipment to work around! 👏

After practicing a giant serpentine maneuver down the whole arena with over twenty stops to read qualities of a good friend, each student was asked to go back and pick 3 qualities that are most important to them in a friend. “Makes me laugh,” “Keeps my secrets,” “A strong support in hard times,” “Trustworthy,” and “Cheers me up when I am down” were some of the leaves I needed to replace most often 🫶🍁
