He did, in fact, need a new tux for headshots tomorrow.

The C-suite has been informed their LinkedIn photos are outdated. I, the lowly human employee, slaved away at new outfits to keep the executives happy.

Pattern: .furever
Models: .lupin.argo
Fabric: leftover fall bandana drop

Listen…I can care about consuming less AND believe my dog deserves to feel fancy. Two things can be true.

So I make small-batch dog bandanas out of thrifted and secondhand fabrics instead.

Less landfill core. More cute dogs. Everybody wins. ♻️🐕

Tell me I’m not the only one whose dog has more outfit options than they need.

He may not look like a pitbull, but this guy is 40% American Pitbull Terrier 😂 The 50% German Shepherd is just VERY VERY strong. October 1 is also important because it kicks off Lupin’s BIRTHDAY MONTH. 🎉🎉🎉

I knowwww I should be documenting this stuff 😂

Especially the before pictures because half the fun is showing what the fabric used to be.

But I got off work today, it’s my one weeknight off from the gym, and I just did nottttt want to turn this into a whole production.

I didn’t want to reposition a tripod, stop a million times, or go through 864 clips of footage.

Are they paired? No.
Are they sewn? Also no.
Did I make a pretty solid dent in the giant fabric pile? HELL YEAH.

Maybe I’ll be a content creator tomorrow 😂

Fellow small business/maker people: are you actually good at remembering to film while you work?? Or are your “before” pictures usually taken approximately halfway through the process too?

PupCycled Threads starts with secondhand finds like these and turns them into small-batch dog bandanas. Every print is limited, because once the fabric is gone, it’s gone.

Shop is open at the link in profile. If you spot something I need to see…mind your business…or tag me 😉

Launching something while you’re still learning as you go? Humbling. Character-building. Slightly chaotic. Terrifying.

The fall drop is still full of handmade bandanas I’m proud of. They’re constructed well and I wasn’t going to toss good pieces or usable fabric just to chase perfection. At the end of the day, I don’t LOVE the pattern I used, so we are pivoting.

We’re keeping the reclaimed fabric and little quirks that make PupCycled, PupCycled.

Thanks for being here while I figure it out in public 🫶
