Adopt Arnold! He’s a 6-year old, 13-lb Maltese blend with a fluffy snout and a goofy little smile.
Favorite Things: Arnold is sweet as pie. He likes to rest in a playful bow pose. He will cuddle up to next to you but he also likes to snooze on his own. He likes to be next to his person cuddling but will also go sleep in his playpen for some alone time. He found the toy bin right away in his foster home but doesn't necessarily play for long periods of time. He has his playful moments, but he will also totally sleep the whole day away.
Training & Manners: The best kept secret about rescue dogs is that some of them come pre-trained! Arnold house trained if let out regularly and will even go to the door to let you know he needs to go out. He's seen it all and isn't bothered by storms. He walks well on a leash and does great in the car, knows "sit" and has good basic manners and will take direction when needed. He can sleep in either the people bed or dog bed at night.
Health & Care: Arnold is a healthy boy. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. His shedding is minimal but he will need regular grooming.
Other Animals: This friendly fellow is good with other dogs of all sizes. He hasn't been observed around cats, but his foster thinks he'd be OK with them, too, if given a proper introduction.
Children: Arnold would enjoy playing with kids. He is gentle when playing with toys.
Ideal Home: His foster thinks Arnold would be okay in any type of home. He does bark a little when playing.
