💔 BROKEN HEARTED: We were too late. Eloise is gone. 💔
Our hearts are completely shattered. We fought with everything we had to raise the funds and get her out, but time ran out. Today, Eloise was euthanized at the shelter.
Her body carried the painful scars of years of neglect and severe pneumonia. Yet, behind bars, she still wagged her tail and looked at humans with kindness. She was still hoping someone would save her.
We wanted so badly to get her into that hospital bed and show her what true love felt like. It is a devastating reminder of how brutal the clock is for these sick shelter dogs.
To everyone who donated and shared her story—thank you. Your kindness meant she wasn't completely forgotten. We failed Eloise today, but her memory will keep us fighting for the ones still waiting.
Rest in peace, sweet girl. You deserved so much better. 🕊️🐾
